That is some beautiful forest and views. I was really impressed that through out you hike I did not see any trash, garbage and no trash cans. It is nice when people clean up after themselves and take care to leave the area they way nature intended it to be. Very enjoyable video, thank you for taking us along for the hike.
P Wise the foothills trail is beautiful. We do have the occasional litter bug but most hikers leave the trail cleaner than they find it. Thanks for watching and commenting
Love the video and the work ya'll do. We started out a few days behind you from Chimney Top Monday night and finished up at Whitewater falls yesterday morning. Tried to clear out the smaller deadfalls along the way but the storms had so many big trees across the way that needed chainsaw work that I gave up tracking them. Truly beautiful trail and for every tree we had to hike over, under, or around we saw a dozen that you guys had cleaned up in the past. Great job.
Dale Daigle hello Dale, thanks for watching and commenting. I have more coming from our hike this week. Please send me an email to andrewandwilla@hotmail.com I need as much info as you can give concerning the section between the Toxaway river bridge and the whitewater.
Loved that camp site and fire pit at the end. Getting there was pretty awesome guys. The views were awe inspiring and I liked your documentation. That's a real service to the park. Really enjoyable hike and top night out no doubt. Take care. Mark
i gotta hand it to you guys,it takes a lot of stamina to do what you do on that mountain, well i guess someone 's gotta do it i guess enjoyed the video .i enjoy you guys running the trails,it reminds me of my youth,i could never do it now,at 79 years young......not for me...take carw till next one.
I have to admit that that the heat was getting to both of us. We were glad to get off the trail at the 30 mile mark. I am hoping to put together a complete series on the Foothills Trail this year. I appreciate your comments Ray. I am still waiting for you garage pictures now that things have warmed up.
Thanks for the trail maintenance ! Good idea on the slack pack .
Thanks so much for the comment and watching my videos.
That looks like it was a spectacular trip!
It really was a wonderful trip, in spite of the heat.
