I was thinking of playing as a night elf rogue who received a blessing from elune . But instead of being a blessed from the light of elune she was blessed with shadow, as in the dark side of the moon. Being more proficient in stealth and a limited form of shadow magic

Rogue is the most diverse class in wow, with highest amount of possibilities, they can be literally anyone and/or anything... Almost any race, from any social level(caste), they can be anything from bandits/thieves/beggars/assasins/spies/someone who has a whole lifestyle and philosophy dedicated to shadow like arts(like ninjas)/pirates/vigilantes/anti heroes etc etc...? they could also aswell be a simple merchant who taught himself( or learned from someone) certain skills to stay alive and will ONLY use them if need be ( like if he gets attacked, he will use every trick at his dispossal even a dirty one) , is all that correct ?
+Inquisitor Aura Thank you very very much!! and one more thing... what would generally differ uhm... for example a rogue and a paladin ? is it the philosophy? like, paladin believes that he is doing the right thing no matter what organisation he is with( even tho he can be evil or use some trick considered dirty), while rogues generally dont follow deities, or have a moral code, and dont generally care how they fight ( as in, fight by itself isnt honorable and all that matters is to stay alive..)?

I'd say that Rogues and Hunter can be RP kinda similair. Loners, Assassins, Stealthy. What do you guys think ?
It depends the rogue that is Mercenary can be similiar to Marksman.

A good tip to keep in mind as a rogue is to remember that stealth isn't the art of not being seen, it's the art of not being caught
