Big fan of PCAR Market and Live videos. I’d like to hear more from Rich Romero on the intricacies of hot rod build trends and values - engine, suspension, body and interiors, without conflating hot rods with million dollar custom Singer builds.
this a really great show/discussion/whatever. I own lots of Porsches, race cars, street, a few mild modified, and can say with experience you and your guests are spot-on. it's passion, not profits (maybe a few "investment", but not many)
David Jacobson has been a real spark for Porsche recently and his Collector Car Showcase in Oyster Bay NY is an excellent place for Porsche people to visit. Davids podcast is comprehensive and anchored firmly by experts like Rich Romero and Jim Barry
Thanks for bringing up the well timed point about the 964RS and 993RS. Interesting and (IMHO) relevant to compare these very special RS cars in the discussion of the 911 Hot/Rod market. Contrasting the top of the food chain 911 in the 1990s to what is possible 30 years later. My point would be to consider (as more of a purest) that there is still a little ways to go if you have an RS. The CUP specifications allow for another easy 10% on power and some room to upgrade the clutch/flywheel. I'm working at present with Peter Dawes on tweaking each gear of transmission ratios for a 964RS touring. The fine tuning extending to the flywheel/clutch...hopefully no gear rattle. Were staying with the factory parts but tweaking as we go through the car. So even a factory 964RS has some room to be made a little more personalized. Hopefully this won't hurt the value. It surely doesn't seem to be the case with the gorgeous cars you presented tonight. A very informative show please keep up the good work! Apexhntr

💯 RWB is a riced out Porsche.
you are nutty
Most of them are posers lol, except for a few like in japan
Yeah utterly vile
You'll cry if you see how he actually builds them
Hacksaws, spray cans, silicone adhesive, chicken wire
It's criminal
No other car in history with so many modified versions at so many levels. Porsche 911.
Miata,Civic, Mustang
