Love the video, first video I come across from you. Like most I am searching Varkala bevause I intend to go there...
Your video is one of the better, showcasing Varkala, the quality and value, and not just about yourself... Even though your personality comes through very well in this!
Wish you did more video's on Varkala.... You covered some of the prices but id like to know the extremities of places, budget to expensive eats etc.
I cannot ask for too much, thank you for your video!!!
Hope to be there for next new year 🎉

Thank you so much Jordan for leaving such an appreciative comment! You put a smile on my face with your kind words ❤
As with your point of budget vs expensive side - you can get smaller local joints on the streetside where you enjoy a full meal for just ₹100-200 per head. We also ordered food online through Zomato & it was usually around ₹500-600 for 2 of us. Lots of budget options there as the town side has numerous budget eateriers. So, Zomato came in handy.
Most of the beachside cafes are on the expensive side as compared to this. Expect to pay around ₹1000-1500 for 2 people (without alchohol). Cafe Trip is Life in South Cliff is the most expensive one that we visited.
But these prices are still less, if you ask me. I've been to Goa thrice & the charges at beachside restaurants there is way higher than what I found in Varkala. So, overall, Varkala isn't really that expensive.

@@SaraswatijiWhat should I say. You have a gift of turning something like a travel vlog into such a negative space.
Not once did I say in the video "Oh look how pretty I am". This was supposed to be a vlog of MY experience in Varkala and I presented it the way I wanted it.
You don't get to define what "actual experience" is for 100s of tourists, all of whom have their own travel styles. If it's you can't stand women who want to dress and feel nice on a vacation, sir/madam that is a YOU problem.
You may have visited Varkala visited 10 times but Varkala doesn't cater to only you, it brings in 100s of other tourists. So if they wanna take vacation selfies, stop being mean to them just because you hate to see others happy.
      Good day to you sir/madam.

It will be very hot actually in May. Best months are November to February during which the heat's slightly bearable.

Only problem with beaches in Kerala is that it is hot and humid.

The heat is why you need to invest in a hotel with a pool.
By the way, try not to litter while visiting Kerala…..
If everyone tried harder, not to throw garbage where you please, assuming that someone else will clean it up for you, because you are too good for managing your own waste….then, there would not be so much trash in Varkala. Respect starts with you.
