The panel discussion felt more like a meeting of internal stakeholders, completely ignoring tourist feedback and their bitter experiences. Instead of addressing the real problems tourists face in Goa, the discussion was heavily biased toward finding ways to extract more money-essentially, exploiting tourists. The moderator failed to bring critical tourist issues to the table or guide the discussion toward identifying root causes. The panelists seemed unable to distinguish between tourists and beggars, showing a concerning lack of perspective. Previously, whenever tourists shared feedback, local tourism-dependent stakeholders would deflect responsibility by blaming outsiders, Indian tourists, or so-called "Chapri" tourists. Now, with lakhs of tourists openly sharing their bitter experiences on social media, the blame has shifted to social media influencers. However, blaming or defending won't solve anything. What is urgently required is identifying the actual root causes and cleaning up the mess created by irresponsible individuals. It’s time to stop pointing fingers on tourists and start addressing the real issues
Whatever Mr. Vincent has said is right. The quality of the guests of the foreign countries is very good. Our own Indian tourists are making the problems here. If we Goans , go as tourists to the other states of India, will their Government & authorities leave us easily if we create problems in their states? Just think about it & act on all the disturbances strictly & immediately. Just for the revenue of the touristm, don't spoil the law & order & the good image of Goa. There is no problem if there is no enough tourism in Goa but we require a peaceful and good tourism in Goa. For the sake of tourism, do not make the law & order easy in Goa. Maintain law & order for all & be happy .
Tourists from Russia, UK , Germany & from other foreign countries are not making any problems. Our own Indian tourists are making problems and dadagiris in Goa. Even in Old Goa, some lady tourist made a problem with the security guards and Olga Vaz has shown this in her song. We require a peaceful tourism & not a troubled tourism. The Government has to be strict in such cases. I have stayed in Mumbai, Trivandrum, Kerala, Bangalore, Chennai & Maldives but I have not seen such dadagiris & troubles there. A total control is required & total strict change is required. If the police cannot control the situation, impose military on the required places & see the the complete change. Even the unwanted persons who are selling or doing something else illegally on the beaches, is a total disturbance to the tourists. All the unwanted persons must be out of the beaches & a total discipline has to be maintained & measures have to be taken, so that discipline is maintained.
Nobody wants to create a ruckus when on a holiday. rude approach, absurd pricing and mafiagiri of local Goans has caused the problem. and it is easily forgotten that when foreigner tourists turned their back on Goa after the covid, it was the desi crowd which kept Goa in business..
sinquerim to baga has become concrete jungle and all ghantys and outsiders are working in goa, and shack restaurant owners are supporting their workers in any wrong doing .
No entry for caravans. Should be charged entry pass per person to cater to their garbage 😅. This is actually to discourage them from visiting Goa. These so-called vloggers who come on bikes should show their hotel bookings while on visit to Goa. I know this is laughable 😅 atam mazi satakli re
Very true, people are going international. People do come they stay in apt and villas where other state doing business illegally.

Tourism is dying in Goa because today tourism industry is captured by outsiders. So safety, privacy and rude behaviour is the main concern.
These are all coconuts. Refusing to accept the real reason which is indiscipline and dirtiness and corruption.
