@@925Gamers a modern classic! I’ve only been into the hobby since 2020 but it’s definitely one of my favorites that I’ve played so far, especially for how easy it is to learn
Enjoying the content your putting out and decided to go through some of your older videos. Love to hear other peoples opinions on games i own and maybe even have yet to try for myself. Le havre being one that i am very excited to try but have been trying to figure out what player count i want to try it out on. Ive heard many say that they dont recommend more than 3. The brothers murph had it in a list of games that play well at all player counts. What are your thoughts? Ever player it at high player counts? Thanks again!
High player count makes the game very long! But the experience is so good! I love Le Havre so much! I think it plays well at all player counts if your ok with a long game. If not, 2-3 is best
@@925Gamers awesome thank you so much for responding! I don't mind a commitment as long as it doesn't take away from the experience of the game. Thank you! Appreciate what you do!
I am too! I have always enjoyed board games by there are so many games I haven’t played yet! It’s cool to have the community shape my collection and suggest new games
@@925Gamers Not sure whether you have played them or not but some that at least weren't in your top 10 but are in mine: Castles of Burgundy, Fantasy Realms, Brass Birmingham, Blood Rage, Watergate

It is cool that you show the box of the board game you are talking about, but what would be even better, is to perhaps show a few photos (don't have to be yours!) of the game in progress on the table. You know, seeing the board, the art, the components and all that jazz is always cool. Good luck with your journey though!
Great vid. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your whole vibe. Best of luck in the future. It's great to see more people developing content about board gaming!
We have a lot of crossover favorites. Given that your #1 is a Chole Wehrle game, you might give Pax Pamir and/or John Co 2e a try. They have recently taken the #1 and #2 slots on my favorites of all time.
Root plays best at 3-4. The two player game is a little weird since it feel unbalanced. As far as expansions go I think you could really start with any expansion and be good. I do feel the expansions get a little more technical as each new expansion came out. So maybe start with riverfolk first. But marauders isn’t super complex either!
I’ve been wanting to play those games! Lord of the rings would be my mansions of madness placeholder. I hear they are very similar. Cthulhu sounds fun but I’m waiting for more availability for it! Looking forward to trying these
Almost all your top ten games are games I love. Please, please, please try the following 2 games - if you don’t love them I would be shocked. Yes, they are old but they are classics and have stood the test of time. First is Power Grid. Most tension of any game I have ever played. Period. Best auction of any game I have ever played. Period. Best economic/supply and demand game I have ever played. Period. Plus with multiple maps this game never gets old. Second is El Grande, published in 1995 as an area control game. It was one of the first of that genre and still is the best.

Consider putting "My" before the title. Some I would agree are great, but pretty much your whole selection is of releases that aren't even 5 years old, so not sure about the "of all time" claim. Also, Marvel Champions isn't a boardgame.
Will have to respectfully disagree. Perhaps that is true that all of the games are less than 5 years old, but those are the games that made the top 10. I do own and have played many games that are older, but games have continued to improve over time. Also, there aren’t many people who don’t consider marvel champions a board game.
