The transition at 19:53... I have to greatly appreciate Beethoven for writing it that way and the performers for executing it very well.

Capolavoro assoluto. Insieme all'op. 47, naturalmente.

Terrible mechanical playing. No sense of lyricism, or the poetic. It sounds almost like Finale metronomical playing. The classical audience of the 21. century is intoxicated with the idea that 'old' music (Viennese classics) should be played without emotions and without rubato.

Not without emotion but in time and without much rubato. Chopin and liszt agreed that the piece should not deviate much from the tempo.
People that knew Chopin would say that people would be surprised to know that the metronome never left Chopin's piano. He played in strict time with no rubato, and the rubato that was played in the 19 century is not the same the we play today, it was a different concept for rubato. Look it up.
      As for Beethoven, same thing.

Beethoven didn't even have a metronome for most of his life

@@roberacevedo8232 rubato does not mean not on tempo.you need to master tempo perfectly with the metronome to be able to do rubato.rubato is basically improvising on the tempo

@@yanivhristoforov If you are talking about the 19 century rubato, it's described as flying on solid ground. Or something like that.
The left hand needs to be STRICT on tempo. The right hand can fluctuate tempo and do whatever it wants. That's 19 century rubato.

This pianist plays every note the same and doesn’t know how to legato. Dynamics are non existent...

What are you talking about? I can hear legato and contrasts in dynamics in the piano part.
