I was surprised with how close some awesome nature was out there... Water quality was amazing for swimming pretty much everywhere. Thanks for the comment and support brother Charles. Chur
ha ha, we really enjoyed going through there... Prob not quite what we expected all the way through, but you;ll see that in the next few episodes. thanks for tuning in team.
Steep road alright, video never does it justice, but 19% gets a few smells from some tourists in old cars going for a drive up there, even if it is a short st. The beaches down these ways are incredibly beautiful. The far North of New Zealand has some incredible isolated beaches as well, we plan to head there late summer, the water will be nice and warm.
Another great video! I was born in Dunedin but yet to see Tunnel beach and can't remember if I've been out to Aramoana so will definitely be visiting these places in October.
THIS IS #1 ( FOR ME ) best most epic episode yet!!!!!! had it all bro, this is exactly why i tell anyone who would care to check out ur channel,,, its why youtube is so great!!! love your country , awesome family, great editing!!! see yah in the next 1 brother!
Yea I'm waiting for that video that will go viral... nothings taken off so its the constant grind bro, just like you... we're growing though and putting out, hopefully some good content... thanks for the constant support bro... from the Leopards 🐆 ✨️ ♥️
Yea we would like to spend some more time that way, there was so much we missed, and also didn't film, but we were in a rush to get to the Caitlins while the weather was still good. Hopefully we'll get back here for some more exploring if we get the time.
*who sees a hill like that and decide to build houses on it haha. Also, who is mad enough to drive it 🤣🤣. I like how everyone is packing whilst Mike is just filming haha*
I know right there were many roads in town like that one, that whole hillside was lined with houses, pretty gnarly... I guess you do get a good view... this town was actually founded by the Scottish... got to have an excuse to not help with packing aye.
Useful info for stuff to do around Dunedin. I camped in St Kilda for a few days last week; thought I might manage to bump into you guys but you were loooong gone. Had a fantastic bike ride out along the peninsula; there's a bike lane most of the way, which was a real treat. Heading back north now, had an amazing weekend in Akaroa, including a beast of a hike/run up on the hills. In Kaikoura now and hoping to go up Mount Fyffe in the next couple of days, on your recommendation. Have fun in the Catlins; I enjoyed going to the 'real' southernmost point when I was there - not much to see but it feels cool to go there. Hoping to pop to Whites Bay briefly before getting the ferry back to Welly on Friday. Great to be ticking off all these places on my Leopard List! :-D
Yea our updates are pretty delayed mostly because of the good weather and not editing... we have definitely enjoyed all the spots we've been including swimming with Dolphins... we've got some good videos coming out.
Yea they are pretty much everywhere we have been... We'll be heading towards the Southern coast later this week out west of invercargill, we'll see if they are down there as well.
@@leopardsgowild I think seals like the colder waters, I maybe completely wrong and I am totally guessing, but if that is the case it would explain why there are more down that way. Are they all the NZ Fur Seal or have there been different species?
More, gorgeous beaches and more gorgeous weather. We're finally getting some good stuff stuff too. Looking forward to seeing The Catlins. I've heard good things. Dunedin does remind me a little of Edinburgh.
Catlins were pretty awesome, def not as remote and isolated as I was expecting... I think Coromandel would give it a run for its money interms of isolation. Although just different array of wildlife.
Definitely some great spots around the Dunedin area, looks like a great time. Have you got into the good southland cheese rolls yet? Something good to cook up in the caravan.
I've only had a couple of the cheap ones down here, nothing to famous.... We used to work with a chef from southland who would make them for us... Delicous.... I got the ingredients to make some for a rainy day down here... They are very warming to the heart thats for sure... We really enjoyed Dunedin way more than we thought we would.
My home. I love it.
We really enjoyed Dunedin Wasn't expecting it to be so good.
@@leopardsgowild Spotting the Sealion, in her hiding place was quite something!

That steep road reminds me of the gravel driveway to our summer cottage. Nice beaches to see in your part of the world!😎

Great vid guys - love the drone shots - Dunedin looks awesome !
Dunedin was very cool 😎 bring on the Catlins videos.
Tunnel Beach looks really neat.
Tunnel beach was better than expected. That hill is pretty steep down though.
@@leopardsgowild I was impressed by how Sofie managed it my knees wouldn't have handled that slope.
@@kjgukibau412 I was also impressed that my knee made it... 😂
Great video. Those beaches look so amazing. I was born in Dunedin but don’t know the area very well. Baldwin Street is crazy!
Yea I didn't expect there to be so many streets like Baldwin st... Dunedin is full of steep roads. Beaches were awesome for sure.
Loving your videos Mike - and your Maori pronunciation :)
Oh why thank you.

Dunedin is a proper gem the Otago Peninsula and those hidden peninsula beaches....Youll need to re visit..
