Synopsis: After realizing that yellow sticky note "to do" lists were consuming his life, animation filmmaker Jeff Chiba Stearns decided to visually self-reflect on his filmmaking journey by animating on the same sticky notes that caused him to ignore major world events for the last nine years. Animation meditation is blended with image, text, and an original musical score by Genevieve Vincent through the creation of a classically animated experimental film that was drawn straight ahead with only a black ink pen on over 2300 yellow sticky notes. I remember watching this every now and then, its been over 5 years since I last saw this, glad it is still up.
This was by far, the best thing I have ever seen in my entire life. You deserve something incredible.
I watched this video too young and completely forgot about the name + I'm not a native english speaker so remembering the title or any word in the video would have been impossible, I've been searching for this video for 2 years now, and finally found it. Feels amazing, I remembered the music also for some reason, and am so happy to hear it again, even if my tastes changed a lot, this is melted with childhood memories, it's not the song itself that I like, it's the memories it brings at this point.
Anyway really glad I could watch this again, this kind of content inspired me a lot and if i'm not studying animation or anything related to art in general (yeah apparently engineering pays good), I still feel the need to animate.
Love you guys!
I found this amazing!
the song added the perfect touch, and the bunny made we wanna smile and cry at the same time.
This is my favorite, most touching, entertaining and creative video I have ever seen on youtube. Amazing job.

Every time I watch this and the bunny with the WTC comes on a tear always wells up in my eyes. Hard to believe 10 years later it still has this much impact on me.

You know what's amazing? I saw this video way back when it was first uploaded to RUclips. I was just reminded of it by my brother who's at Emily Carr this year. So, I re-watched it and I am just as impressed by this now as I was by it 4 years ago!

I'm speechless that was amazing, it really chilled me out.
Impressive. Keep up the great work. I go back to the hand drawn animation era. I worked at Lisberger Studios in Boston where the original idea for Tron was developed and later produced at Disney. I remember when I was a student at the Boston Museum School one of the most impressive short animated films I saw was all draw on Index Card. Keep up the great work! What a joy to watch this little gem!
Thanks! That's really nice of you to say and I really appreciate it! Keep an eye out for the new sticky note film coming in this fall!
