I downloaded it recently and did a quick playthrough and it amazed me how I still, after all these years, knew where to find all the gears and keys. The things you remember as a child are never disappearing. I still remember how hard challenge 14 was. I remember being stuck on that challenge, plus the adventure 14 mission. This was great! I loved this game as a kid. I thought the levels were so well put together. The physics were bit wonky, but that’s what made it so fun to drive around and see how big you could make one trick. Well done!

I just got a legitimate factory sealed copy of this game for PS2. I am beyond stoked. Literally my childhood and one of my earliest gaming memories playing this on dads work laptop in like 2004 😮💨

Overdrive, as you know, I used to play this game on the PlayStation 2 and the Gameboy Advance. I would use Krazy 8s for most of the Missions except for Mission 12. For Mission 12, I would use Vulture and Energy Shield. HW Prototype 12 is a good vehicle for joyrides, especially with Jet Boosters, although Jaded, Hyper Mite, Maelstrom, Splittin Image 2, and Shadow Jet are not bad for joyrides either. HW Prototype 12 is ideal for drag races. Just to let you know.

Yep, Challenge 14 seems to be the bane of everyone’s existence, including mine when I was a kid. It’s by far one of the hardest things in the game for someone playing through for the first time.

When you first boot up the game a splash screen comes up with some settings on it, have you tried lowering the quality of the game settings?

Why is all the UI gold?
The PC version and the GameCube version have gold UI, and the PS2 version has blue UI
