yousuf yasir Even compared to movies made today, the special effects are some of the best ever made. I saw T2 about 10 years before I even decided to watch T1 :D

In T2, when the Terminator is telling Sarah about Cyberdyne and how Judgment Day began, Arnold is reading off of cue cards. 3. Many think Dyson's daughter is just not shown in the final cut of T2, but she was actually erased completely as Dyson's wife even had the line changed from "Danny, I told you to go to bed like your sister!" to " "Danny, I told you to go to bed and I mean it!" 4. Nikki Cox made her film acting debut in T2 as one of the girls telling the T-1000 John went to the Galleria. 5. The twin brothers mentioned in the video were also in Gremlins 2. Which also had the gun store clerk from the first Terminator.
Arnold didn’t want to play the terminator actually because he didn’t want to be seen as a bad guy. He was telling them his tips from being in the army about how a terminator should react and James Cameron was so impressed he asked Arnold to do it (taken from his biography)
Reyson Fox: Because [duhhh] it's a big mac! It's full of the rich, savory taste and flavor of stuff conjured up in an oil refinery, re-purposed grease not even suitable for lubricating old steam engines, semi-digestable "meat" and a whole truck load of other yummy ingredients :-D

Turns out that when Michael Biehn came in to read for the terminator role (later swapped to Kyle Reese after Arnold and James had lunch and discussed the script), he was turned down due to his thick southern drawl. When his agent called to find out how the reading went, he was confused. Michael has no drawl. Turns out he had been reading for a role in a theater production of Gone With the Wind, and never broke character. They were so impressed that he got the Reese role after all! Michael rocks, man.
Nova Sky My father just told me last weekend that still has that box set, and asked if I wanted it. It's VHS, so I turned him down, but the extras tape was really great.
It seems that when time came to write and cast T2 Cameron went back to his original concept for the Terminator's human look and made that into the T-1000.
Did you know that in in Terminator 1 Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't want to use the line, "I'll Be Back." for the police station scene. Instead he wanted to say "I Will Be Back." To which him and James Cameron got into a fight and James yelled "I don't tell you how to act. Don't tell me how to write." Also Mel Gibbson was considered for the Terminator role.
Yes, another reason Arnold wanted to say "I will be back" was because English was realitivly new to him at the time and he thought that that would be the proper way to say the line and also because it would sound more machine like

CelestialVulpes was going to comment saying I have ate plenty of big Macs that were a day old. still tasted the same. those dinner boxes are great as left overs lol
Yes definitely do a part 2, I love this series of videos and T1&2 are two of my favorite movies of all time! You can feel free to leave the other two movies off the list though.
Am I the only person on Earth that likes the original better? Arnold as the bad guy was the best one. Everyone ALWAYS says the second one was better, but the original seems to be far better in my opinion. I can't be the only one who thinks this.
TheVileDelinquent Nope, you're not alone. T2 is a fantastic blockbuster action flick, but its cons include the huge budget and overblown production, Arnold being miscast as "the nice robot", child-friendly content (well, slightly more so than the original at least) cringeworthy ending (even as a kid I thought the: 'I know now why you cry'-moment was terrible) and an almost self-aware comedic tone to it (amplified by a million in T3 of course). T1 was rough, horrifying, perfectly cast, simple, quicker and had more soul to it than the sequel. I love T2, but the first is just the best movie ever made.
+TheVileDelinquent well yeah kind of... I mean I remember the slow ass scene where I wanted to see more action of the terminator but instead Sarah & Kyle were just talking under the bridge or behind the wall talking about John conner & them making love but anyways on that scene, I thought it was quite slow as fuck but at the same time I can understand it too since it's the first terminator & they are trying explain the story of the film but yeah I mean everyone has different opinions so yeah 😊
TheVileDelinquent I love the original too T2 is alittle overrated. T1 is gritty but speaking of being the only one on earth prefering Bad Arnie in T1 i really like the hated T-Genysis movie i see it as an alternative T2 and it work's for me because i hate T3.
Bonus thing: We all know that Kyle Reese is the good guy and the Terminator is the bad guy in the first film. But in the sequel, they had the idea to bring back Kyle Reese in the form of the evil T-1000 since the Terminator turned good, but they changed there minds as they thought it was confusing for fans of the movie. I would've loved to see that.
totally didn't know Linda Hamilton had a twin sister. o.o BTW didn't they think on get her to make Linda's "stuns" scenes, like running around and let Linda rest of her broken ankle in terminator 1?
Interestingly, T2 is the second major 1991 movie to feature a character escaping from a straitjacket using a paperclip to pick a lock. (The other one should go without saying. ) I wonder if that was deliberately imitated or just a coincidence.
When you think about it, we all have a Terminator that feels no pain and will never ever give up hunting us down until it has its prize. Death. Whether she rides a horse or walks alone - she will never, ever, stop until she has you in her hand and none are excluded from her pursuit. Will `o` The Mill once opened his door to a friend he wished he`d refused. But she took his hand and led him to where he`d rather not have gone. He`s not been back since, nor is likely to return.
years later discovered this - wow dude! the production quality, fact finding, entertainment value and your talent for humour are just so brilliant! I hope you continue to experience every success in your life :)
Actually, Arnie had the part of Reece and didn’t want to be the Terminator. It was over lunch that Arnold spent so much time telling James Cameron how the Terminator should act that Cameron said that no one knew the character better than him so he should be the Terminator. Bonus* Arnold didn’t want to do the line “I’ll be back.” line, but Cameron talked him into doing it and he did 10 different takes and picked the one he liked.
Linda was married to Cameron at the time and she didn't want her Sister in the movie more than herself (understandable i guess) as she was also a no name at the time along with her husband and wanted to establish herself!
Imagine being Linda H. You break your ankle, and YET, you insist that you yourself continue. Suddenly, you are REALLY a hero, because you are working through the pain, and then you know that you ARE who you are pretending to be. The acting ends, and you ARE the female hero.
I stayed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and our room was an Arnold S. themed room. So naturally there was a ton of Terminator stuff in there. They had the actual sunglasses from the first movie and his chest wound that he got later on in the movie I think. It was sooo cool. The only thing was there was a huge picture of Arnold in the bathroom...
Everyone is hating on T2 now lol but back in '91 don't tell me you guys didn't think that was the best movie ever and we all tried that gun flip, c'mon admit it
Yep.cheesey saings in t2 felt fake phony wasnt even acting like a machine t1 is the best in my opinion t2 was the best but his character idiot cameron did makin Arnold character not kill and listen to the kid ruined the film in my opinion even arnold thought it would in his biography
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. T2 is OK but the darker tone of the original is how I would have loved the sequel to continue. By the way I'm 47 so watched both when they were originally released.
John Connor = Jesus Christ Sarah Connor was impregnated by a man from the future who technically shouldn't exist and gave birth to a boy who would become humanity's savior
There's nothing "funnier" than an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression, its right up there with Christopher Walken and Morgan Freeman impressions as comedy cancer.
I don't understand all the hate for Terminator Salvation. I thought it was pretty good. Obviously the marketing ruined THE major plot point of the whole movie, which is annoying, but on its own the movie isn't the terrible dreck everyone writes it off as. The action holds up, it's got some great actors in it, the effects were above average (minus the CG Arnold), and it's an all around decent movie. T3 was kind of just ok, but Salvation was pretty cool.
Budsygus I'd say that Salvation had a lot of good ideas, it just wasn't executed all that well by McG. It's not a terrible film, though, and I can find enjoyment out of it. That being said, though, it could have been so much more. The one thing I thought the film did perfectly, though, was cast Anton Yelchin as a young Kyle Reese. I thought he was perfect in that role.
Budsygus The main problem i have with any film released after the second one, is that they took the message of the first two films- that there's no fate but what you make, and even problems that seem set in stone can be overcome- and shat all over it by saying there was nothing they could do about judgement day, making one of the best films of all time almost completely pointless. Also, while the first two films explored original ideas through groundbreaking effects, the other films are just content to copy the memorable parts right down to the dialogue (i'll be back/ come with me if you want to live/ turning to the driver with robot parts showing and saying "get out" ect.) and adding more explosions, usually in CG. No wonder Cameron thought the future of his greatest franchise was only worth a dollar.
Thorntonian That... actually makes a bunch of sense. Thank you! I hadn't ever thought of it that way. I know the last two films weren't on par with the first two, but they were still pretty decent action flicks. I'd never considered it a betrayal of the SPIRIT of the first two films, more just the QUALITY. Well said, sir.
i liked it as a movie but not as a terminator movie. it completely contradicts the expectations of how the apocalypse looks. there werent hordes of terminators firing plasma weapons or battles, not a single ammo storage area, nothing that was seen in earlier movies. also, the t800 was being an idiot when it came to john connor. he looked really different from arnold, and just throws john around instead of giving him a punch and ripping his heart out, something he seemed to do quite easily in the first movie...
That's because he didn't, sadly. One of the mistakes made in the film. Had he offed a few bikers, (and not had a George Thorogood soundtrack) his role would have seemed much more ambiguous, up until the mall hallway gunfight.
Watched the first Terminator movie a few days ago. Watched the second one yesterday, and finished the third today. Tomorrow will be the forth one. I don't know why people hate the second and the third movie. They are awesome. The story is so complete. Everything fits together. Ok, there's more CGI in T3 than in T1, but come on, what did you expect. The movies take place 20 years apart. Of course they are going to use technology from now!
OptimusSledge My brother in law does. He doesn't like how the T-800 is the good guy. Plus he doesn't like how the T-1000 travels back in time because the first one established that only organic matter could be displaced in time. However, myself and everyone else I know is like, "Dude. It's just a movie. Not an actual technology. Get over it.
OptimusSledge J.A.J. Films Good hypothesis. Personally I think he had a basic flesh covering that he either discreetly discards, or uses it for energy by some process. Ever wonder why Skynet didn't just send a T-800 to wipe out her great great grandparents? I would've been *way* easier. Even if it was destroyed by a lucky cannon ball or something, there's no way they could've taken out a T-1000 with early-to-mid 19th century technology. Or why (and this is pretty grisly) Kyle didn't skin a fresh corpse and bring a plasma rifle or two with an extra power cell or some other kind of tech that he couldn't get in 1984. OR why didn't John send the reprogrammed T-800 to assist Kyle?
That last fact is kind of funny because if you pay attention in T2, the Terminator doesn't actually kill anyone before he finds John either (at least not that we see). He probably cripples several bikers in the bar but none of them seem to be dead. In fact he's almost more violent after the order than before (shooting kneecaps and throwing orderlies at the hospital)
2:37 the shotgun used here was also modified with less-tense springs in the pump and removed the pump lock so she could pump it without the other hand and finger on the pump release...
T2 is my fav movie since I was a kid. I even thought that hacking the cash machine was awesome. but because hacking is so illegal, I even had court threats from businesses and other jurisdictions of the hacks I done and reported to them when I was like age 16... It just scared me off from anymore hacks or even programming. now I am just a failed PHP scripter. I forgot how to cout in c++ windows... you get more prison time for a simple hack into a system than murdering a person or 2... you can get more prison time than murder just for typing in GUEST as username and PASSWORD and the password and hitting submit button.
I only see a small number of those cabover semi trucks out on the roads here in the USA nowadays. The one that was used in the first Terminator movie was an International Transtar fifth wheel with a tanker trailer hooked up to it & the one that was used in T2 was a Freightliner tow truck.
Fun fact: the scenes where Sarah Conner was picking the locks were based on actual techniques she acquired while training with locksmiths to give the most authentic feel.
gnarkillguch yeah, I love the film franchise, everyone just hates on anything thats not the First. Terminator and Jurassic Park are my two favorite series, and they both have films that people hate on.
jim jimjim LOl I've actually never even seen a single star wars movie. At first I didnt even know the great Mark Hamill ,AKA The Joker, was in those movies. But thanks to those star movies we had the perfect Joker for the animated series.
jim jimjim Failures?! I grew up on those! Just how other people grew up on the older/original 3. When you grow up on a movie, it's hard to hate it ;) Plus....Jar Jar was always funny to me :D
James Cameron also sold the rights to The Terminator for $1 before production, so he earns no royalties from the movies, Lance Henriksen who plays a cop who questions Sarah in the movie was cast as The Terminator, but because Arnold describe to cameron all the Terminators characteristics so well that he no longer wanted him to play Reese but the Terminator instead, just some facts that are more interesting than what's in the video, oh and also while doing an interview about Conan he had on the Terminator shoes and was asked about them, and Arnold said they where for some shitty movie he is doing that will take a couple of weeks to do.
Ahhhh I thought Arnold from the get go wanted to be Kyle and it was James who convinced him to be Terminator saying that was cooler, also thought it was Arnold who wanted the Terminator as a good guy because he was trying to appeal to kids by being the good guy.
@Richard Johnson Terminator: No Deal Brexit Day. Duh duh, duh duh, duh duh. David Cameron is a cyborg from Skynet out to destroy the UK with the Brexit vote. Rowan Atkinson Johnny English is a reprogrammed cyborg sent back in time to help Tracy Ullman, impersonating Camilla Parker Bowles, kill Boris Johnson before he nudges the country into rebellion and kill Nigel Farage for throwing a wrench at the Cameron cyborg causing it to shoot back. Blowing up the bus with nothing written on it but knowing it will some day be the fated bus is the climactic scene. Later we find Sepp Blatter was on the bus so the World Cup is given to England instead of Qatar.
golden: Because maybe she already looked like LH from T2 and wasn't willing to lose her muscle to play the role? Or, maybe she was 7 months pregnant. Or, maybe she had a "life"of her own.
You didn't mention the scene in T2 where Linda Hamilton was in the mental hospital and after she broke out. She really did beat the orderly who licked her face with the broom as hard as she could, because he REALLY PISSED HER OFF! You can research it. She is a badass.
Was the "lick" an unscripted move by the actor. Cuz that was skin-crawlingly gross. Linda's Locks and Licks!

Fun fact about Arnold's gun flip: he took the idea from John Wayne who did this in an 1950s western. Fun fact 2: Wayne learned it from Wyatt Earp himself who liked to do it in his prime years.
Actually Arnold wanted to play Kyle Reese but in their meeting James C decided he is a better fit for the role of the terminator which Arnold did not like at first but was convinced by Cameron, that the movie is not about the hero, its about the terminator. Also James and Arnold had a huge argument over the iconic line I'll be back. Arnold that it was girly and wanted to change the line to I WILL BE BACK which pretty much pissed off Cameron and he told arnold I dont tell you how to act, so dont tell me how to write.
1) In almost every interview or reflection piece that they've had in regards to the first Terminator, Cameron and Schwarzenegger have said the same thing: Arnold was more interested in playing the Terminator because he seemed to be the more "cooler" of the two, and thus was completely uninterested in the role of Kyle Reese. Cameron originally had other actors in mind for the Terminator because he wanted to stick with his original idea of The Terminator being a machine who could blend in perfectly. Cameron has also stated numerous of times that he intended on picking a fight with Arnold during their lunch meeting so he could get him off the project because he was annoyed at the fact that he was so intent on playing the Terminator character. Obviously, when they finally met, Cameron changed his mind and thought that Arnold would actually make a perfect Terminator. At no point did Schwarzenegger ever state that he wanted to play Kyle Reese. He wanted to play the Terminator right from the get go. 2) Arnold wanted to change the line "I'll be back" because of his difficulty in pronouncing the word "I'll". He even admitted to this during his appearance on Good Morning America back in 2012. It wasn't because of the line sounding too "girly"- infact, it doesn't even sound girly at all. Don't know where you come up with all of this, to be honest...you're mistaken.
***** Girly? If the Terminator says it, it's not Girly at all......Well, this was only confirmed after he said it. The fact that it's a popculture icon now proves it's popularity.
AJZulu I never said that the line "I'll be back" was girly. Not once. I was responding to the original poster, whom claims that "Arnold wanted to change the line because it sounded girly"
One thing y'all missed about *Terminator* was that James Cameron was a truck driver before he was a filmmaker. There is at least one semi-truck in every single *Terminator* movie, a nod to his former job, which he quit after seeing *Star Wars* for the VERY first time.

I thought it was Arnold though

True, but he was about to shoot that meathead after he tried helping John. That's when John stopped him

No That's Twinkies.
As it is often told on the internet: "Get a life!" or in this case "Get a shelf life!"
Twinkies don't have nearly as long a shelf life as has been made out to be.
I saw post where someone kept a Happy Meal in his office. A year later he opened it and found the burger and fries had not decayed or formed any mold.

Top 10
I wasnt around when the movie was made but i watched it last night and i can easily say it is the best also i was born in 2001
yousuf yasir Even compared to movies made today, the special effects are some of the best ever made. I saw T2 about 10 years before I even decided to watch T1 :D

no joke, my favorite movies. I'm a huge fan. Arnold is literally born for these roles
T2 is THE best sequel to any action/movie in hollywood...
I'll go along with that
T2 AND Aliens :)

I thought T1 was okay.

T1 was rough, horrifying, perfectly cast, simple, quicker and had more soul to it than the sequel. I love T2, but the first is just the best movie ever made.
I like part 1 too but I like part 2 way better & terminator 1 was a little bit slow paced 😢
Ben Yang Really? You thought T1 was slow paced? I've never heard that before, lol.
00:22 Normally I don't laugh, when I'm alone at home, but the "Probably!" killed me! :D
I always like it when Arnie's accent is the strongest. It's the best accent in the movie industry to me.
2.30 .. ooooooooh anyone else spot the kid looking at the camera?

Ailie A well actually he could have been looking out the window making sure that no one would intrude.

JSSTyger think for a second it can work, he was looking at the genral direction of the window and he is bieng hunted by an advanced robot so yea
holy fuck that security guard and linda Hamilton were twins? No wonder those scenes looked so real they were real ha.....
It's 2019 and there's yet another Terminator movie coming out later in the year.
It’s call Terminator: Dark Fate.
And its the worst terminator movie...
Spoiler alert: John Conner- is dead (again)
And P.S so is Salvation
There is just one thing about Terminator 2 - you can't get enough of it
3:03 in Terminator1 you can also see arnold junks too about in 5-10 mins
P A R T 2 ! ! ! N O W ! ! !
can CineFix travel back in time naked and give it to us yesterday instead?:P
amazedsatsuma I'm all for someone from CineFix doing naked time travel as long as it's Mackenzie from the What to Watch Before You Die videos.
Garzanberg She can do all the naked time travelling what she wants...as long as she ends up in my bed on my .... :P
somegreatbloke Too bad "your ..." would evaporate together with you and most of your bed, as part of the "incoming sphere"
Leszek Cyfer Didn't think about that. :/
"Im Rees DN31416 assigned to protect you, you have been targeted for termination"
Such a powerful line, gives me goosebumps every time.
Reese's ID# has been in my head for 30 years.
I hate how Hollywood juices any good or decent movie 'till you can't watch anymore of it
Star Wars
You mean Disney!
@@OmeedNOuhadi
Disney turned to sh*t when Michael Eisner took over. It's getting steadily worse.
Lol, a shelf life of a big mac is 35 minutes. More like 35 years.
The plutonium they add for the taste helps slow down the bacterial action that causes food to deteriorate. That shit can sit around for millenia :)
I can never unsee those balls ...ever :[]
totally didn't know Linda Hamilton had a twin sister. o.o BTW didn't they think on get her to make Linda's "stuns" scenes, like running around and let Linda rest of her broken ankle in terminator 1?
Of course they had, only probably writing all that bull - in order to get press for the film. Who knows if she had even been injured. :f
i thought the one about O-J simpson being considered for the role was gonna come up
That's in the part 2 they released.
ScottishChristian 'tis true
I think Arnold should win a trophy for "most impersonated voice in human history".
Sarah is the master of unlocking
Sarah is the master of everything!
I saw this comment while watching him talking about unlocking
Whaaaaaaaaat
But it is Jill...they should meet.
Resident evil reference. Awesome.
Interestingly, T2 is the second major 1991 movie to feature a character escaping from a straitjacket using a paperclip to pick a lock. (The other one should go without saying. ) I wonder if that was deliberately imitated or just a coincidence.
3:02... Just replaying that....
For *research*
I love terminator salvation, i dont understand why most of the people hate it so much
I like it as an action film, but it's just not a terminator film in some of it's core elements.
Some people are just crazy ;) Terminator 4 is the best in my opinion :D
barbaro267 Really? It's just a straight up action film, with barely any of the features that made the original Terminator a good film.
well it's only a personal opinion
Camilo Araya Oh sorry dude you sound really hurt. Didn't mean to attack you so harshly..
You okay?
years later discovered this - wow dude! the production quality, fact finding, entertainment value and your talent for humour are just so brilliant!
Did he say “digital wang removal?”
If Linda H has a twin sister, why not film her running if Linda had a broken ankle? Why have her run at all with an injury... just saying. :)
That's what I was wondering too, when I heard that fact.
@@jackfenn7524 There is something to be said for that.
.
Linda h didnt have a twin sister when they filmed the first one duhhh hahaha
Linda Hamilton = best Sarah Connor
No contest from "genesys" or that silly girl
That is not how you spell “Genisys”.
4:52 bribing the guy that survivs on cupons with a meal, that is a brilliant negotiation if I have ever seen one.
I remember trying the gun flip with a toy lever action shotgun as a kid, it even had batteries and made a "chickchick" sound when reloading lol.
Who is hating on T2? Granted, I still happen to think T1 is even better, but T2 is also great and I think this is the general consensus.
WHO IS HATING ON T2??? Its probably one of the best action/sci-fi movies to be ever made
No. Another movie ruined by the trendy addition of an annoying kid as a main character.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. T2 is OK but the darker tone of the original is how I would have loved the sequel to continue. By the way I'm 47 so watched both when they were originally released.
John Connor = Jesus Christ
Sarah Connor was impregnated by a man from the future who technically shouldn't exist and gave birth to a boy who would become humanity's savior
evan om agrees. As soon as you alter the present, you alter the future.
Shit. Even their initials are the same.
Mind. Blown.
evan om nice
+Lux Bellator, Jesus Christ is not his original name. Do some research.
Emre.D OMG ure so idiot. its a subliminal message idiot.
I like how there are these bonus facts thrown here and there. It's really a good thing!
I have errands to run, but when it comes to watching this video, Ill be back.
There's nothing "funnier" than an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression, its right up there with Christopher Walken and Morgan Freeman impressions as comedy cancer.
Dont forget Jack Nicholson impressions.
yerk55 r
yerk55 Woody Allen too
SpeedBoost Gollum too
Impersonation, not impression.
why does he talk like stewie from family guy?! i love this show!
Lance Henriksen was originally to be the Terminator. Imagine how different it would have been?
He's such a great Actor. I Think, he would a good Terminator too.
He was great as Bishop in Aliens. He makes an awesome "good guy" robot.
*They would have skipped the knife jumping game on other hand part!*
Terminator isn't Terminator without Arnold 😎✌️ he'll always be back.
LMAO, your Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions was absolutely hilarious!
I haven't seen it yet but this wasn't the first time marketing ruined a plot point in the series and not the last
Budsygus I'd say that Salvation had a lot of good ideas, it just wasn't executed all that well by McG.
I don’t remember the Terminator killing anyone before John told him not to
Only maim or seriously injure. Wait, thats dobby
That's because he didn't, sadly. One of the mistakes made in the film. Had he offed a few bikers, (and not had a George Thorogood soundtrack) his role would have seemed much more ambiguous, up until the mall hallway gunfight.
jadedandbitter Yeah, but they probably didn’t want a protagonist who killed innocent people
Watched the first Terminator movie a few days ago.
Thomas Raes No one hates the second movie, I have no idea where you could get that impression from.
Crawford Tillinghast
I just assumed the T-1000 was covered in flesh when it was sent back and then removed it once it arrived.
OptimusSledge No doubt. That's what I was wondering when I read that comment (referring to your first reply).
Upgrading a lever-action rifle with a cavalry loop so that it can be cycled one handed was actually not an uncommon modification at one time.
Actually John Wayne was the first person who requested it so he could flipcock his rifle.
Long Live The Duke !

I only see a small number of those cabover semi trucks out on the roads here in the USA nowadays. The one that was used in the first Terminator movie was an International Transtar fifth wheel with a tanker trailer hooked up to it & the one that was used in T2 was a Freightliner tow truck.
The Terminator is a movie that just keeps on giving.
Fun fact: the scenes where Sarah Conner was picking the locks were based on actual techniques she acquired while training with locksmiths to give the most authentic feel.

2: I knew all of this
Most of these are accurate. Good job finding these out.
Are you the real arnold?
Yes
Wow
If you do a part 2, I'LL BE BACK.
See what I did there?
Some shitty movie....? Damn...

If Linda Hamilton has a twin, then why did they make her run on a broken ankle?! Jeeez!
kindaaaaaa.... budget?
but good one
golden: Because maybe she already looked like LH from T2 and wasn't willing to lose her muscle to play the role?
1:35 the handle on the shotgun was actually made of rubber. A custom part one can buy from the various manufacturers to "flip-charge" it
Actually Arnold wanted to play Kyle Reese but in their meeting James C decided he is a better fit for the role of the terminator which Arnold did not like at first but was convinced by Cameron, that the movie is not about the hero, its about the terminator.
*****
Girly? If the Terminator says it, it's not Girly at all......Well, this was only confirmed after he said it.
The fact that it's a popculture icon now proves it's popularity.
AJZulu I never said that the line "I'll be back" was girly. Not once. I was responding to the original poster, whom claims that "Arnold wanted to change the line because it sounded girly"
I never said that you said it. And my post was more of an agreement with yours. Not disagreement.
Please don't blast this out of proportion.
But... directors DO tell actors how to act... thats kindda their thing.
