- On today's epsiode of Out The Smoke, @howtobbqright and @SwineLifeBBQ review the Aldi Charcoal Kettle Grill. Malcom went snooping around the Aldi and caught wind that this bad boy was up for sale... Is it worth the price tag? Should you skip this grill and head for the Weber Kettle instead?

Would love to see you guys cook a brisket, ribs, a pork shoulder...on the Aldi grill
I love Aldi! I always do my grocery shopping there. Their St Louis style ribs are great quality.
You guys make a great duo
Mark doesn't look like Malcolm partied him too hard this episode LOL.Got some missippi grit with my bbq monthly order.I'll try it out today.Keep up the good work ya'll
Can you control air flow enough to do low & slow? And is it same grill grate dimensions as 22 inch Weber?
Just got 1 today for 30 bucks on sale, can’t beat that
That grills on sale at my store for $30 now you need to try out the Aldi vertical smoker they have
The prime beef rub is very good indeed!
good vid doods!!!
I get what you guys are saying but I’ve had my Weber for about 20 years. I don’t know if that would make it five. I also wonder how long the grates would last and was the ash catcher metal of some kind or plastic. I did like the lid hinge and would like to check that out more but I knew when I bought it I was investing in my kettle.
My first offset smoker was a Range Master I got from Aldi for $69! It didn't sell right away so they dropped the price and I snatched it up! It was a thin metal barrel type cook chamber but I got a lot of great use out of it. I did my first brisket to perfection on it. I have since bought a new smoker but I will always remember my Range Master!
Looks like it might be okay in a pinch but how long will it last?
bought this based on this review and I got it for $40. It's my practice charcoal grill until my nicer one comes from Santa. Definitely cooks steaks as advertised. Gonna try some ribs on it soon.
Can you guys please review the Oklahoma Joe's Judge Charcoal Grill?
Aldi has a decent meat selection sometimes.
Over here in Germany they have really decent steaks and always pretty good quality meats
I have used inexpensive grills in my past. Rain will tear them up-rust. Always aware that the materials and construction are not the best. Great 2nd choice if you have a big Kamado that does not travel.
I say we make Mark cook SOTM next year on a couple of those !!! Give the other guys a chance to win a guitar !!! 😲😂😂😂🎻🏆❤😁
Aldi is number one in Germany. Good quality and cheap.
Really like to buy my steaks and lean beef there
Aldi is really pretty good quality for a low price most of the time
Not for $60.
What are your thoughts on the Aussie Walk-about?
I only ask because they are about the same price.
Let me know when the paint starts flaking off. Haha! 😂
I remember when you and Mark were talking about blowin' things up when y'all were developing this channel. I say blow up this kettle or the 3 legged Webber. Time to step up and let some smoke out of a kettle!
That’s good for grillin’, but how well does it hold temperature for bbq? I want to see you do some ribs or a pork butt on it.
Leave that bad boy outside and let us know how it looks next year.
My sister me one for 4.50 from Aldi
If the cardboard grill works any grill will work! Lol
I’m sure you can find better things to review.
What is wrong with this lol?
