Hi! Back again a year later. Listening again a few times over. What I appreciate the most about this performance is the "naturalness" about it. Like you 2 look like you were made to just do exactly this. You've nailed some key elements-you've got the intimate calm setting and background music, just such a natural vibe like you're just hanging on the couch and decided to have a jam. You are very calm and elegant singing and hitting your notes and vibrato very well. But, personally I feel this song to be a power ballad. Very emotional, like this song is a way of a quiet, shy person bursting out to the world to let out their feelings of how they feel about the person they're in love with. I'd really, REALLY love to see you guys do this over again, standing up, and throwing your entire bodies and emotion into the song. Even watch how Ann performs the song in her video. I honestly believe some higher power and octane behind your vocals would make your cover the best that has and will ever happen.

I think Heart is one of the hardest bands to cover because Ann Wilson has such a wide vocal range. Many try and butcher it and its hard to get past the first verse. You did a great job on this and I had to listen to the entire thing twice..

Oh, sorry! The two chords? Right after the "G", before the "D". leading into the bridge. You can do what I suggested in my other post? Adj. by dropping the bass, or maybe just leave them out entirely, and let her carry it. That other guy? Was using a "Reverb/Echo" to carry through that, and it was SMOOTH, imo. Anyway, up to you. All my stuff? Just suggestions/ my own opinions.

Maybe there's something here. Let's see- James is it? You have 2 chords wrong on the guitar, or, they're played wrong- and it's throwing her off. Imma suggest the way this guys playing it, for her voice- I think you'll like it, IF you have that effects pedal, or built into your amp- @of-s you don't need to copy him exactly, or do, it's brilliant, for an acapella/acoustic set. And for Louise? Stand. And SING. You can reference the same video? LISTEN to her, once she lets go- it's brilliant, as well. On her singing? She "whispers" too much, and I told her as mush- I'm a realist, an Actual one- So I'm just giving you the truth- YOU do NOT have the "whispers", thank God, and I could pick up what SOUNDS like potential? But you're cutting yourself off, sitting down. Love to hear you redo this, with those small corrections, and see what happens. Remember, you're covering a Hall of Fame group. And Not only THE BEST Female Rock Vocalist of all time. But a woman whos middle name, is POWER. Bring it home. Let's see what you can REALLY do.
