Great clean collections. Glad you got the Bravo and VK before Yamaha announced their exit from the industry. I picked up a Transporter Lite in 2023. Only 300 miles on it so far (one weekend) but a very jack of all trades sled.
That Tundra 300 is a dream sled!! I had a Tundra II but got rid of it last year and i do miss it. The older Tundra's are so uncomfortable to ride any distance. You really can't sit on them at all, same with the Bravo's. Sure they go all over the place in the deep snow, simple to maintain and are reliable as heck but no comfort besides peace of mind. So last year i bought a new Polaris Voyageur and I love it. I do a lot of boondocking, backwoods riding, trapping and predator hunting. Its got some balls, doesn't do 110 mph, tows a really good load and is so comfortable to ride. The only downside is it came out of prime this summer but because of simple engineering it's such a easy fix and, like all Polaris's it eats spark plugs. I cannot understand why every manufacturer gave up on single piston utility sleds!?!? I have been looking for one of those Tundra 300's for years and anyone who has one does not want to sell them. Dream machine.
Yes,they are good machines, and very easy to manuevre in the bush.I do see some for sale up here in the north, and they really hold there value too. Thanks for watching.
I love my Viking540. This sled is made for the northern parts of Sweden. I went from an ET340 to a Nytro XTX and finally found a 2001 VK540. Pure love and its just what i need.
I bought a new VK last season, great machine. Can’t beat the Yamaha quality and reliability. I also chose it because of the ease of maintenance and simplicity.
Great collection it’s amazing how well-kept your stuff is ! you must be on the move from early in the morning till the end of the day and spend the night dreaming what’s next
Great reviews also ! Those machines are hall of fame machines and anybody that is into sledding has at least heard or read about them at some point in their life . Great collection ...very similar to your hall of fame motorbikes , the Tdub and the KLR have proven themselves for over 30 years just like the Tundra and Bravo .
I searched high and low for a tundra for years. Most listings were in Quebec, but all with high kilometers. Found one in Ontario on kijiji, mint condition, owned by a farmer as well, but sold instantly. Ended up holding off for a few years and bought the Yamaha transporter lite this year. Absolutely loving it, great for ice fishing, and can break trail quite well. Nice and light too!
I sat on a guys 2021 the other day.Seems like a nice light machine. He said there all just re-badged arctic cats.As long as they hold up.Lots of tundra's for sale right now, winter end. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing your collection! I’m in the market for a utility sled and the VK, Bravo and Tundra/Skandic (550fan - swt) are my top picks. Those sleds certainly hold their value - just saw an identical ‘17 VK asking price of $15k, an ‘11 Bravo - $10k and the ski doos are right up there! Whilst searching I came across the brand new Yamaha transporter lite equipped with a 397cc two stroke and all the new styling, bells & whistles. They compared it head to head to the good old 340 enticer - I prefer the old school utilitarian look myself but it’s good to see Yamaha is still using two strokes engines!
Arctic Cat Blast small light weight machine, electric start and reverse, hand and thumb warmers, single cylinder 2 stroke. They look like a great little machine, by the way great video.
That Tundra is awesome- wish I could find one like that. I have been looking for one like that for years. Tomorrow, I am looking at a 98 tundra, Keeping my fingers crossed, need it for breakin and draggin trails. BTW when we get loud sleds thru the yard (like your neighbors) my 77y/o mother calls me and says "Did you hear that a@#$@#hole" :). (We've been running sled for over 50+ years. Ride on.) Thanks for the info.
Beautiful sleds. Any suggestions for a reliable and light ice fishing sled? I'm currently running a 2000 venture redhead triple and find the weight to be excessive. Always worried about getting it stuck as I mostly go solo. Would love to hear what you have to say. Thanks!
Tundra2 with RER,or Yamaha Bravo long track. No real comfort in any of the two over long distance, but good, dependable sleds. And light weight for 1 man. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Bravos have always been an amazing sled. I had 15 of them in the mid 90s as rental sleds. Always great for kids and first timers. They lasted for ever. How much is that Bravo LT worth now?? Another great Yamaha sled for us were the 340. Ovations. The only thing that ever went o. The Yamaha's were the oil pumps
Bravo LT"s vary in price, but anything real clean and straight will hold top dollar.Min.3500.00 Can. for a clean machine, and even more for exceptional machine. Thanks for watching.
That fun to hear that bravo made until 2011. Here in europe they only sell bravo when they was red in the 80s. The vk540 stopped sell here last year also so sad. //SWEDEN
Just stumbled onto your channel. Enjoyed all the information. I'm researching the Yamaha Bravo LT 2011 I found available for sale at 2100 miles very clean/excellent condition. Seller asking $4,100 USD. What do you think of the selling price? Thanks in advance.
Well,I just sold my 2011 bravo longtrack.I got 5400.00 Canadian for it on trade. They are excellent,i would.nt hesitate to buy another. And i probably will,For the right one. There worth what your willing to pay,and the objectives you have for it.You won't lose money if kept in good shape.
Wow.. do we think alike.. Utilitarian gear and meticulous maintenance, I have ended up doing tunnel extensions and paddle tracks, and wide skis on fanners.. The new Arctic- cat Blast line is worth a look, I think maybe someone pulled their head out of their butt!
Great clean collections. Glad you got the Bravo and VK before Yamaha announced their exit from the industry. I picked up a Transporter Lite in 2023. Only 300 miles on it so far (one weekend) but a very jack of all trades sled.
I was curious about the transporter lite, and quality of build. They seem okay. Thanks for watching.

What a great collection of humble hard working sleds!
Thanks, just getting ready to pull the 300 out,if we ever get dependable snow.thanks for watching.
I bought a new VK last season, great machine. Can’t beat the Yamaha quality and reliability.
I also chose it because of the ease of maintenance and simplicity.
Lots of great machines out there. The VK has a time tested reputation.
So sad Yammie gave up on sleds. RIP.
We have a 2 tundras and 3 bravos and i can tell you it’s a relief having these older sleds there light and easy to ride
Lov that Tundra !
Great collection it’s amazing how well-kept your stuff is ! you must be on the move from early in the morning till the end of the day and spend the night dreaming what’s next
Equipment is just to costly to me not to take care of,I try to stay on things. Thanks for watching.
Wow! Great sleds!!! Great finds on the used market.
Thanks,Finding clean equipment can be difficult.

I was eyeing these as well, how is yours holding up?
I picked up a 2011 Bravo LT last year with 139 original miles. Last year of the special runs as I understood it. Going to keep it forever.
Great sleds, you can also put a reverse kit in it.I believe there ordered out of QUEBEC Canada. Thanks for watching.
I am looking at a 2009 bravo with 1800 km and has reverse got a 1990 trapper and love it just like the reverse
Your lucky if you find a BRAVO with a reverse kit. That kit is 1000.00 bucks.
Cool! I’m a huge fan of the Ski Doo Skandics.
Great machines.

Clean, long track utility machines will always hold there value.Good luck on your search.
@black bear that machine will go a lot more K's than that, take care of it.
Love that bravo
Yes,Great little simple bush machines, and bullitproof engineering.Thank for watching
What a dream collection
Thanks,it took quite some time to find the bravo and tundra.I did get somewhat lucky.
Arctic Cat Blast small light weight machine, electric start and reverse, hand and thumb warmers, single cylinder 2 stroke. They look like a great little machine, by the way great video.
The blast LT is a nice little machine,I guess lightweight and 4 stroke don't go hand in hand.
@@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 the yamaha transporter lite looks like a winnning combo also!
2019 vk540 love it, pull groomers and set our own trails, doesn't get much better than that.

Watch the chassis for rot on the Tundras. The older one's being steel. Thanks for watching.

You need an Elan, captain! Schweet bucket list selection
The problem being,I just like anything with an internal combustion engine. Thanks for watching.
That fun to hear that bravo made until 2011. Here in europe they only sell bravo when they was red in the 80s.
The vk540 stopped sell here last year also so sad. //SWEDEN
It will be interesting to see the future of the older sleds.VK has had a long run.
i have a 97 380 formula s which is pretty light, and a 93 venture gt which is not light but has electric start & reverse.
CAN'T GO WRONG WITH ANYTHING YAMMY
Japanese quality.But,Ski-doo puts out an impressive product.
@@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 i literally searched a local classifieds platform with the key word "rebuilt" 50%+ was ski-doo

I have a VK540. It doesn't pass emissions. Yamaha was allowed to import them because they had environmental credits.
Does SkiDoo even make a fan cooled Tundra/Skandic anymore?
I don't think they make anything solely fan cooled.
Need Yamaha Enticer 410
THEM OLD BRAVOS SIP GAS TOO
Wow.. do we think alike.. Utilitarian gear and meticulous maintenance, I have ended up doing tunnel extensions and paddle tracks, and wide skis on fanners..
The new Arctic- cat Blast line is worth a look,
I think maybe someone pulled their head out of their butt!
I would say cat did a pretty good job on the BLAST LT.Time will tell when you do a bit of work with the machine. Thanks
who ever knew they'd all go the way off the dodo
And you'll notice, there are dependable, rock solid tough machines, replaced by more gadgets and computers.
You were right about the VK540, can’t buy em now.
love the 11' Bravo . Lose the Black paint on that bumper and let the factory chrome shine !
I was actually stuck on the fence about the paint,i do like original. Thanks for watching.
@@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 Honestly , it looks bad with the paint. The chrome clearly defines the sled
Wanna sell that Bravo?
not so slow and curious here!
Sometimes you just gotta give'r!
Brovo is 2011 I thought it was 80s
I bet you did.Why fix whats not broken.
I wonder if its “as new”
Who cares if your not selling it
Used is used
Thanks for watching.
