Hi Renee!!! When Mr.Y and I went in last year for our SO, our SA did not ask us to make our decision the night before. We made all the decision on the day of the appointment and the manager had sat with us along our SA to make the decision. However, we know what we wanted prior to going in so the process was pretty quick but the manager went over things in detailed. Sorry to hear about your experience. Your SA should have not rush you guys prior to the appointment. Thanks for sharing!!!! Congrats again!!!
Congratulations on your SO. I had the opportunity to do a SO as well last March 2022…. Still waiting for my B25 Rose Sakura and Gris perle multicolor with contrast stitching in chèvre and brushed gold. My SA didn’t rush me to make a decision the night before, but the experience wasn’t great. No pictures was allowed to be taken. Didn’t provide much feedback and certainly wasn’t patient. Luckily, I did my homework and was set with what I wanted.
Rose Sakura and Gris Perle is a dream combo! Hope you get your SO soon! My SA didn't allow us to take pictures too but my friend managed to take a few for me when my SA stepped out. My SA also didn't provide much feedback so all decisions were made on my own.

I also got a SO this season and our bags will look very similar but will be cousins, not identical twins. 😊 I didn’t know that I was selected for a SO (I actually got surprised and was told when I was in my store for a visit to get a gift for my daughter). Even though I thought I knew what I would have designed, we planned everything out at that time and I even changed my mind during my appointment. We took a while but had so much fun. I hope your order and mine come in close proximity to each other!

I find it so interesting in the way different boutiques set their "rules" for their a la carte or special orders. In our store, our SA would have to submit our name to our store director and it is my understanding then it goes to Paris for submission to see if we are accepted to even be selected for our S.O. After I placed our S.O. request, I mentioned your story to our SA (not your name, to protect the innocent😉😂🤣) and our SA was truly blown away that you and your friend were both selected just like that. The process is long at our boutiques and it takes months, the steps are, our SA "nominates" us to our store director and then if approved by him then my understanding is that Paris can approve or deny the nomination. This is so interesting to me. I am genuinely happy for you and your amazing friend, she's truly special. I have never been able to get a friend a special order request LOL. but I have passed on special orders invitations for myself to allow someone else the opportunity to create their dream bag and I feel that's why the Hermes Gods have smiled upon me from time to time with incredible bag offers 😂.

I just did my SO in December waiting on it. I think as in store and my SA asked me if I wanted to do one and I did it within 10 mins. Lol no notice just did it and went with my gut instinct.

Sometimes I did, sometime I didn’t. It’s up to you. Consider buying a twilly, a piece of fashion jewelry or a mug if you would like to. I don’t think your SA will be upset. They’re not supposed to think that way. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching!

Hello, my SA didn’t tell me I would receive an email. He said they can’t guarantee when the bag will be completed, but when it’s completed, they’ll inform me.
