For some reason the paper with the map really spoke to me. This can be turned into a great going-away present for someone who's moving away or going on a trip. You could print a nestled map of the places they will visit. Or this could be turned into a beautiful keepsake after a vacation with a friend with pictures and so on. This technique pretty much works with every kind of paper so you can print your own motives. Wonderful video! Thank you!

I was thinking a good way to document each place you have lived in your life, and you could add pages each time you move, using actual maps of each city you lived in. Maybe what schools or jobs you had there, years, ages, etc. Birth to infinity! Your photo, where you lived, who you dated, vacations and so on.

Hi Natasa! I've been bingining on all your videos in time order from oldest to newest so I don't miss any! Some I have seen more than once, and others I've seen in the "later" section, but as I go one by one watching the ones I haven't seen, (all of them! Even the long ago sold treasure boxes and journal flip throughs!) and I just now finished this one on the Turkish fold. It looks so pretty and it reminded me of when I was a girl we would pass notes to each other and try to fold them in clever ways. This is similar to one of them. Anyway, I wanted to stop by and let you know I am enjoying my binge quite thoroughly, as you are incredibly talented and inspirational! SO much that I've made I've learned from you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time and effort into sharing your wonderful gift with us!!!! PS I wish you were in the States, I'd love for you to get ahold of Scotch brand glue stick to try. Its totally unlike any other glue stick! For one thing its huge, which is awesome for covering large surfaces, and for another its SUPER sticky! In a GOOD way! lol. I'll have to see how much postage would be to send one to australia.... Thanks again Natasa! Love, Georgi :)

We did these in 8th grade and used for autograph books. People signed in each section separated by folds. We got out best friends to sign first because that way they got the bigger spaces.
I hadn't thought of these in years. 8th grade was '75-76. Never thought of them for journals. Thank you for reminding me.

Hey, I know this video is pretty old but I thought about it and decided to comment anyways, even though I don't usually comment on stuff - I was playing around with the tutorial and found out you can actually do it with rectangular pieces of paper too! The diagonal folds are a bit tricky, but if you line up things correctly it works just fine; alternatively you could use a scoring tool to mark the diagonals prior to creasing it. Now that I'm thinking more about it I kind of want to try it with a circle as well 😅
Thank you Natasa for your great videos, I always enjoy watching them and many times I go back to older ones because they're such gems! ❤️❤️
