They got an assist from Melvins too, back before they got popular. You should check some Melvins sometime. I can suggest a quite a few that'd be right up your alley. Melvins had some hard shit in among all the other excellent music Buzz and Dale and co. made.

I love the Salival album. The Peach version was cool, but any song Tool does a remake of is even better. Tool make the song their own.

"Not on that Tool income level". I hear you. Went to see Tool as a student in 1995 and it cost me £5.50. I'm 48 now and reasonably successful with a pretty well paid job, but couldn't even contemplate paying out for a Tool gig these days.

around here in '98 was where Tool began changing from angry to enlightened.
My only critique is that it would have been even better to listen to Peach's version first and then listen to this, just to illustrate how well they treat the original artist's work.
