Taego comp circles are almost as bad as sanhok comp circles, I think PUBG will sort of taego circles before PGC

Didnt sanhok have the same problem when it was (short lived) in competitive? The circle would go to the North West island in the majority of games. Nearly always ending on the big mountain and whoever held from the start has a huge advantage.

For sure it was a similar issue, maybe even worse given the terrain in that area being so limited for rotation options - at least on Taego the island is big enough and higher ground is accessible from any angle, even before adding things like Emergency Pickup

The sanhok circle problem was that the first zone determined the end zone with 95% certainty. Due to the triple river, it was clear from circle 1 which island the circle would go to. On top of that, due to land ratio, the end zone heat maps had a very small amount of land on each island as the probable end zones. Basically on C1 pop it was a mad dash to the 500 sq meter end zone everyone knew was coming.
