Normally I try not to bring shipping into how I look at SMG4, but that SMG4 seems to “have someone waiting at home” and they don’t reveal who it is. You’d think it would be revealed and it’d be a joke, like Kermit or a teletubbie with a wig or something, a gag that SMG4 has done before, but they didn’t… any guesses?
Yea I give this episode a 7/10. The Karen and Mario stuff does bring it down a bit but it’s not that bad, and Mario was enjoyable in the beginning. Plus the swag and SMG4 stuff do bring it up a bit. Though I wonder two things. For one, what did SMG4 mean when he said someone was waiting for him? Now it could just be a throw away line which could be his PC. But I don’t know, he has done crazy lore stuff in the past, so this could be another plot line. But the real question is… What song was Mario dancing too cause that was a bop to listen too?
I liked it better when Mario and smg4 Are more equals to each other, what's Mario having the same amount of control as smg4 but also being incredibly stupid, instead of smg4 babysitting kid Mario. Because then it kind of throws off the dynamic of them being equals.
Am I the only one who notices that this is a common problem with Karen focused videos? They did this in How to Train Your Mario and the ice cream machine video, the former of which actually being the best Karen video in my opinion, souly because of Karen’s focus (pretty low bar, I know) Karen’s character is really relatable and engaging to me, but her enjoyability is completely counterbalanced by how poorly they write Mario in these kind of videos
