That kid did good didn't he. It reminded me of when my dad use to take me to work with him. He was a building contractor. He did everything roofing, plumbing, electrical, hvac, framing, sheetrock, insulation, trim work, cabinets, and painting. I remember once when I was six years old. My dad was doing a roofing job on a second story house. I begged him to let me go up with him to help him. He took me up and nailed my pants to the roof so I wouldn't fall off. Seriously. When we got home my mom was furious because I had nail holes in my pants. I also remember the first time I stained trim work when I was eight. My dad gave me a rag and a can of stain and said stain all of the trim. Crown molding, door casing, and baseboard. When I got done I looked like a Arab. Again my mom got furious because it took three days to get it off of me. My dad didn't care. He was teaching me a trade and creating memories I'd carry with me the rest of my life. He passed away this past January. It is the greatest loss I've ever felt in fifty years of living.
It'll be a little while I go back to doing it I have tore my shoulder up and has surgery and had a torn muscle and a ligament so I will be out for a year I might be selling everything but I'd go around and help people out I don't charge them or do nothing but I live in Racine Missouri about 20 miles from Joplin and I live right in between Racine area it's between neosho and Seneca when I cut wood by myself I can cut up to at least an acre or 3 acres and 3 acres in least two days that tells you how fast I don't play around that's not being rude just letting you know how fast I can do it that's got them up and 8-ft logs
You guys do really good job I got a friend that needs some done but it's only like a 1.3 acre it's not very big and the brush cutter is all you need on it if you have around down here let me know I'll watch all your shows videos that's what I've been doing now as in last almost five days now only watch at least about 7 to 10 videos a day and what you guys doing
John, Malachi and Kelvin just loved that day and already watched the video several times. Thank you again for letting the boys spending the time ridding the excavator!!
A Wonderful Team Working. The Excavator Driver to know how he the Plant Portion for the Mulcher to lay. That not Problem is. And then have You two Young Apprentice. Yes it is never to early Children for a Calling to Interesting! You make this Perfect. And after that go the Working with speedy farther and all to think always with. Good Working and a good Video. Greeting 👍🇦🇹
that was so cool of you taking the kido's for a ride and letting them work on the machines. My grandson loves working with me and my brother inlaw when I plow or do anything with the tractors. he would ride along all day if he could. 9 years old and already knows how to weld and cut and almost letting him run the tractors by himself but he needs a little more experience and age before I let him do it all alone. he loves farm life. helped pull his first calf a couple weeks ago and loved it also.
OMG! While watching the 2 grinders working in fast motion, I was thinking it would be so cool if one of the neighborhood kids asked to run some equipment and you let them. And then you cut over to the little boy and let him operate the mini. Had to be the highlight of your day. It definitely was for him.
Great job boys, looks like you made somebodies day there John. Bet Malachi remembers this day for a long time!! Nice to see you have time for the youth of today even 5hough you are very busy. Great job, well done. All the best Graham 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Had a gentleman who owned a road construction Co in our neighborhood growing up as a kid and he would take us kids from the neighborhood up to his farm and teach us how to operate the equipment. If you where willing to learn ,he was willing to teach. I'm 56 and the gentleman has passed. I will always be in his det for his teachings.
The training for Upstate Brush Control starts at an early age! 😊 I remember my first ride in a road grader. A wish came true that day. John, love the time you took showing Malachi and Kelvin some excavator action
I like that you have been publishing more vedos per week!! Great to see everyone more often. Thanks for tacking us to work with you everyday! We appreciate how much work the videos are but we enjoy them!
There's two little boys who aren't going to sleep for a week. Well done Jon. *God bless.* [edit]: I'm sensing a theme here with Jon, Joshua, Micah, and now Malachi all on one job site. I think it's going to turn out perfect.
I've my now 7 year old neice get in my TL150 by her self at just over idle and while she loved it all she did was shake the travel and implement controls.
You made the day for Malachi and Kelvin! It’s amazing how quickly they got the hang of the controls. The land clearing went fast, and looks so much better, even with all of that southern red mud.
A perfect example of the human touch. Those two young men will remember this fondly for the rest of their lives, and who knows, you may have recruited two future employees. And yet, it cost you nothing. It really costs nothing to make someone happy. Your two sons are lucky to have you for a father. It also shows the importance of church in our lives and a powerful, living force for the good.
Outstanding clean up John, looking great, those boys were all smiles playing with the big toys lol give them enough seat time and when they are old enough you can hire them
Those thumbs on the machines makes a huge difference. Cant believe I have never seen that before, here in Norway. I have used a few excavators now and then, but never tried one with a thumb :-) And skid steers, never seen that here either. You guys have great toys over there.
Impressive job guys nice to see the full toys in use and working together....very good job done.....and did you take Malikai`s resume for A future addition to UBC...Great Job....Stay Safe
Great video, nice size job for y’all to take on,full crew and equipment, that’s the way to go.before and after big difference.keep on doing what your doing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Great job Malachi! When you get older maybe you can work for Mr. John. Were those ants in that stump? I hope we get to see you finish this up. Great episode John. 👍🥰❤️
We been clearing last few weeks trying to keep payroll up ..... burning during the wet days .... hoping to go to chipping everything in the next few years and do away with the burning ..... Ive caught 3 machines on fire and burned up two ..... always like watching other people doing the same work .... I bet SC is a little warmer too than WV !
John check out Triple L Rustic Designs channel they just got the worlds most powerful chainsaw, Stihl MS 881 it can run a 60 inch bar. It's crazy huge.
I’m used to commercial construction, so residential jobs may be different. Do you have to have your RLD (registered land disturber) for a job like this? I noticed there was no silt fence up around the job and it made me wonder about DEQ coming out.
Question for ya. What do you feel about carbide tip chains for chain saws? I have one with one on it and it seems to cut faster and stay sharp longer but have to to take it to the still dealer to get it sharpened because of the carbide blade needing a special sharpener. the chain cost more new and cost more to have professionally sharpened so I am crossed between a carbide or regular still chain.
I have been following your program for a good while and enjoy the videos..... HOWEVER.... any way you can keep your hands away from the lens while adjusting it, somewhat annoying and also i would rather watch more action and hear less talk, thanks...
Love it! John, you just instilled a memory in those 2 little guys minds that they will never forget. Thanks for caring. God Bless.
Best day ever!!!!!! Good on you for remembering how important it is for kids to DO!!!!
Malachi will remember this for the rest of his life, your a good man John! Who knows, 10-12 years from now he might be working for you.

I like that cap too
I see 2 young men with a new summer job. It's a smart tactic to train them up now so they know exactly what's going on once they're hired. 😂
These guys are for real, Greenville! Hire them.
Thanks Merritt!
Great job Malachi! When you get older maybe you can work for Mr. John. Were those ants in that stump? I hope we get to see you finish this up. Great episode John. 👍🥰❤️
They looked like Carpentier ants. Common to trees.

John you are so lucky to have such a GREAT crew so how long did it take to train them on all the different peaces of equipment.
John check out Triple L Rustic Designs channel they just got the worlds most powerful chainsaw, Stihl MS 881 it can run a 60 inch bar. It's crazy huge.
What's sad is that those kids now know more about excavators than I do.
Hey, we all have to start sometime right? Ha!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
12' power line clearance? That sounds illegal. Here in VT it is 22", I believe.
Phone is usually bottom then Ca Tv next highest then power on very top
