First saw this movie when I was 9 from my folks.. quickly became my favorite and still is... and for whatever reason... this is the most memorable tune from the entire flick considering every song on the soundtrack is engraved by this point
@Mary Burdette I love it hahaha
“Oh George… not the livestock…”
“Cow killer!”
She runnoft
Makes me want to go start a campfire in the middle of the woods and just dance all night long! BECAUSE I’M FEELING 10 FEET TALL!

@@Pat4ever. Gopher Everett?
John Hartford specialized in Old Timey Americana- he played fiddle while dancing on a wooden plank. He appeared in the film "Long Riders". He is missed.
"I'm George Nelson, and I'm feelin 10 feet tall!"
This song is electric
"Jacking up banks. I can see how a fella'd derive a whole lot of pleasure and satisfaction out of it."
Love It!
I'm glad i'm not the only nut around . . .

This is not an instrumental; just because the whoops are not words does not mean they aren't vocals..
what genre is this exactly? I wasn't sure what to make of it
Fiddle perhaps?
Appalachian folk is the closest thing
Ilya B Appalachian folk or Bluegrass one
It's Indian War Whoop genre.
