I wish they would cap immigrations from each country at 7% like the US does. I feel like an alien in my own country because everyone is from one country.

Canada is not US what does canada produce oil, natural resources or amazing winters ?do some research about 1990s yes immigration should be controlled

I think that the US system is vastly unfair and I believed that the Canadian system is more reasonable at first, because the US caps me just because of my nationality, just being born in another country and I am not american. I like Canada more as a destination, and I figure I'll have a much much easier time immigrating and having freedom. I understand though that it might be strange to have the diversity. California is a probably the most diverse state in the USA and it has the same population as every province in Canada combined, but it still has less diversity than Canada

Canada should also put a per country cap of 7% max per country. We have too many people coming from a small number of countries like India and China.

"limiting work permit eligibility later this year to spouses of foreign workers in management or professional occupations or in sectors with labour shortages-under Canada’s work permit programs (TFWP and IMP)" - means workers in management, prof jobs or labor shortages will be the ones who can apply their spouses for SOWP, not the other way around.

I happened to be born at the wrong time and I'm now only able to chose between english speaking countries to immigrate to because I dont connect to India anymore, but the true indians who immigrate seem to be taking all of the spots in the US and Canada

Correction here: I exchanged my French and sometimes English knowledge with many Chinese people and I can honestly even if I am not a professional teacher we had many good moments, They all are now Canadian permanent residents or Canadians. They all contrinute to our economy and culture, have university degrees
( Bachelor, Master and Ph.D) Many got married now and some have kids with a Canadian passport, I am so proud of all of them. When an immigrant is ready to adapt Canadian and Québécois culture and make serious efforts they are warmly welcome. Cheers Pierre
