Having the wood made was definitely an accomplishment, and this will be the start of me making more headphones with even better improvements. Maybe another semi-open? or open back with different stabilized wood color ?
Yes man you should do it because you have a head turning product that is getting a lot of exposure on a very popular headphone channel. This is your time!
OK Mr.SJY. You have my attention with these! I definitely want a pair, especially to use as the main headphone I display on all my stands I sell. Plus I need a closed back for listening purposes. 😀
This is a huge step for me by gathering all the experiences I had with the other two headphones. I will start to move away from campaign and have it available soon for purchase.
I'm not surprised about the wood cost; ZMF does similar things with their Stabilized/Resin runs, and the costs are significantly more expensive than their base designs when done well though, holy shit the wood cups can look so beautiful that it's part art and part headphones
I just got the last headphones he made. They sound amazing. One major issue, difficult to drive. I am using a Schitt Asgard headphone amp. The amp needs to be all the way and full power. Honestly I need a better headphone amp and am open to suggestions. Thanks in advance. The Asgard sounds amazing on everything else I have.
Listened to these at CanJam NYC on the new Geshelli stack. These fill that itch that I was looking for. That itch usually gets scratched by 1k plus headphones. These headphones are more in my price range and I could see myself pulling them off the headphone wall often. Placing it right next to my HD600 and SR60E, Dekoni Blue and so on. Its not often that I spend my own money on headphones as we own a ton at the Dekoni Office, but this is on my purchase list. I couldn't believe the price after I listened to them, if you spot them at CanJam you gotta listen!
I'm working on making the headphone available once the campaign is over. It might take some time, but hope it will be available by the end of this year.
Monolith M1070 can be had for $200-$250, and their my second pair of headphones, in the "start-over" collection. I'll only own 5 headphones at a time, from now on.

But the colours... Are so beautiful.. Open back Jeffrey..

Just ordered a pair! I can’t wait to listen
Reminds me of a Kennerton Rognir as far as the wood goes. That is of course a massive compliment given how pretty and well made the Kennerton are

The left earcup looks like cracked out sonic the hedgehog lol
5:17 Man what a nice color.

I love those cups!
I bought the artisan but not the hinode. I might be buying these because of the wood and that it’s his 3rd/4th
I think I was second on the indiegogo campaign. Hopefully my emotiva basx a-100 with the jumper for speaker power does it.
It's rare that you like a dead neutral headphones.. they must be veeeery good.. the power requirement is downside however and can be a dealbreaker
Or he might just be biased because he likes the wood.
The shape of the ear cups, the yokes, and the slider remind me of Fostex TH610.

“That’s real wood.” I just became a paid member
They look really nice, I just can't go back to that headband type after using suspension straps
I hope those will be available outside of Indiegogo, because I'm German, and Germans don't have credit cards.

"either waifus or just shove 4 knuckles in something soft" well i can only agree with that
these are going on my wishlist, so hoping i get them as a gift from noone
should be getting my Hinode (both drivers) Monday guess I'll find out if I'm impulse buying the Starry Night then ;P
Any idea if a Denon X3500h would be able to power them?
I'm desperately trying to resist telling some really terrible jokes about wood.
tell me then , this is an old video and no one will come to see us
How is the isolation?
high node or he no dei?
Wait. If the impedance is really really low it becomes hard to drive?
It will sound just as loud, but the amp could sent too much power back to it self. It’s fine as long as it’s not so loud
Verite closed knockoffs?
I’m interested in helping out emerging manufacturers but those are essentially a Frankenstein VC, Fostex and Kennerton.
oh wow, he is local to me...
he used the rad 0, zmf, dan clark, abyss designs and created those lol,
That headband slider "bulge" look like it could dig into your head; is that noticeable?
Not really. Only your fingers feel it when adjusting.
@@ZReviews Review the new Kef Mu7 anc headphones please. You're the only reviewer I trust
Jake the snake roberts I believe

I was interested in buying these until I saw that Indiegogo has started adding mandatory 10% tip. Fuck off with that.
I don’t think you need to tip
Looks like bowling balls
Bowling balls are rarely made of wood.
Hey pasta, can I win? Haha
if these didn't cost over 2000 I would've bought them
Edit: How the fuck are they 500 bucks
if there is no diamonds in the title then it is under a 1000
Each diamond stands for a 1000 bucks
Anybody else notice it's Is using a denon headband
Also am getting the hd560s tomorrow with a ifi zen dac v2 will comment my impressions after a week or 2 on this very comment
I would never purchase another Z recommended start up item
Why?
