I think that one of the most important things thats forgotten is that not every comic is the same tone, genre, and for the same exact audience. With that in mind, these films don’t all need to be the same tone, genre, and for the same exact audience. Some stuff will be silly, some stuff will be more serious, some things will be for younger audiences and some things will be more mature. Of course, all of it has to be well made, but I think it’s a mistake to think every project has to aim for the exact same audience, not just because the books didn’t but also because aiming at the same target audience doesn’t grow the fan base. We’re not supposed to love everything, and that’s okay!
I agree. I’ve always loved their grounded stuff. I hope this is as good as Captain America: Winter Soldier, Black Widow. Even Daredevil. Ground level stuff.
The synopsis for this film describes it as indie because it feels that way. The thing that excites me with this is that it feels character driven than this great overarching plot. With each character having to deal with that. With Yelena she thought killing Hawkeye would give her fulfilment but it didn't. In the same vein as Agatha it's driven by the characters. If you know comics then you know who Bob is and the building Val is in is also very familiar.
I'm in! This looks so much fun. The Thunderbolts here is incomplete as Red Hulk will join them eventually. Marvel likes to have twists in their character movies, there will be some kind of twist at the end of this. Possibly the return of Sharon Carter. Black Widow (Yelena, Natasha's sister) Red Guardian (Yelena's dad) Taskmaster (Antonia, the one Yelena and Natasha tried to kill then saved) Ghost (Ava, the one who tried to kill Ant-Man) Winter Soldier (Bucky, Cap's best friend) US Agent (John Walker, the one who thought he could be Cap) Phase 5 puts Marvel back on track!
I knew Thunderbolts was always the plan eventually as Zemo was introduced in Civil War. But weird choice of not having Zemo/Citizen V personality in this one.
@@sawalhaadderleys I completely agree:) there is so many characters that could fit so well in that sort of genre. I’m starting to think the both MCU critics and fans have scared Disney from trying that out.

Bucky is in peak Winter Solider mode there at the end 💪😎

Bucky’s arm in the dishwasher was priceless 😂

Looks like it’s got humour going for it. But cant say I’m excited. I think Hawkeye, Wandavision & Loki are always gonna be peak comic book tv.
Bucky getting his arm out of the dishwasher 😆
I’m not being a dick or anything but I juts don’t care about this. Marvel needs to take a year off or something. Over kill on overdrive.
😝
They seem to be decreasing in content lately. 🤷♀️
Yes - for good reason - it’s become very samey
I think the fear of the indie idea is that these movies will be another Eternals situation
I think I mean indie more along early Scorsese lines … I agree Eternals was f**king hideous
