  • I woke up with a 5.00 Customer Rating on DoorDash. In my last 100 rating as a driver, everyone has selected my service worthy of 5 stars. Does this mean I will immediately receive better offers?

    It’s impossible to maintain 5 stars in my area because they stack good orders with no tip orders. Some restaurants forget straws or plastic utensils, and they blame it on you even though you can’t confirm that they were included because of the seal. I seem to get hit on late night stacked orders the most. They do remove the majority, but it seems like people rate the driver as their overall experience. If they had to wait until door dash tricked a dasher to accept the order because they didn’t tip, they blame it on the driver.

    I’ve noticed that Uber really only has hidden tips if the order shows $10+. From my experience anyway.

    • @giglife3552
      @giglife3552 Год назад +1

      Right because they hide tips that are more than $8. So depending upon the base pay (some areas are $2, $3, or $4) $10 and up will have hidden tips.

    Never had a difference with a 5 star rating I got 95 5 star, 2 4 stars, 2 3 stars and 1 2 star. So I have a 4.90 no difference but it still makes me mad 5 people gave me those because 4 didn’t give me a thumbs down on anything so idk what warranted the rating and the one 2 star guy said bad order handling from a guy who ordered five guys and the bag was really greasy when I handed it to him. Like what did you expect? Five guys food to be healthy for you? with no grease or something? It’s an easy job but when I get a rating under 5 idk what they want me to do go to there house and do there laundry? I drop off the order and leave idk how I can be bad at doing that too warrant a 3 star.

    On Uber when you see order has the same drop off location, they mean drop off is in the same neighborhood not the same address. Very dumb if you ask me but thats how it is.

    All of those ratings are used as “tie breakers”. Proximity is #1 overall. If you’re in the parking lot you get the offer first, for example. But what if you’re sitting next to another driver? That’s where customer rating, acceptance rate priority and the other percentages come into play.

    • @PhoenixDeliveries
      @PhoenixDeliveries  Год назад +3

      That makes sense. They should want drivers who are already near the restaurant

    • @dashingjac
      @dashingjac Год назад

      @@PhoenixDeliveries yeah, I don’t think proximity is talked about much with the content creators. The only metric DD cannot control the way they would like is Acceptance Rate so that is the one they consistently incentivize with “priority”. But make no mistake about it, they want food delivered on time (proximity) and with care (customer rating)as that directly affects repeat business. My opinion anyway.

I probably won’t get it to a 100 lol but I’m try to get it high. That dd option is frustrating af they kick you off if you decline to orders in a row and I accepted about about 11 orders and it only went up to a 56%

    Have you noticed any difference since they started the Diamond orders? I did the reset but was back down to 7% in two days. I’m thinking they send a lot of the LOP orders out as Diamond orders as all the +$100 orders I’ve gotten have been Diamond with the + sign in the offer. Guess I will see in another week when the trial is over. Making slightly more $ with the Diamond orders. Take a few more because you are sure they are going up.

    It should matter to always get high paying orders but it really doesn’t matter because it’ll still stay the same with no difference. Maybe just maybe door dash will improve with making those customer ratings count to get nothing but high paying orders. On another note you made me laugh through your whole experience with the 5.00 rating and hoping it would carry you up but it dragged you down to just a average joe and Merry couch potato 😂 bro. Thank you for the laughs, I needed it and I like ya 😂

    I've had an UberEats satisfaction rating of 100%, ever since I started 5 or 6 months ago. I really doubt it makes a difference, as long as the rating is "good enough," whatever that number may be. These companies just want to make sure you can get the food from the restaurant to the customer quickly and efficiently.

    I see double orders like that from two different restaurants going to One customer a lot on doordash I've never had it happen on Uber Eats (although in the end yours didn't go to the same address). Don't be surprised about the 6.50 order on doordash that turned into $10.50 or $10 because hidden tips start at 6.50 if your base pay is 2.50. If your base pay is 2.25 then hidden tips start at 6.25. My first day on Uber Eats I have a friend from a doordash group who also does UberEats, call me from Minnesota and to give me the lowdown on Uber Eats and Uber Eats actually starts hiding tips mostly at $8.50 in some areas apparently they do at $8 because I've heard of people talking about it or saw that they wrote about it in the comments of other people's vlogs. But they will definitely hide tips I got a couple of tips that have been hidden around $7 and some change orders on Uber Eats, but most of the Uber Eats orders will be $8.50 or above if you want to get a hidden tip on there, and you never know with Uber Eats what kind of tip you're going to get.
    But there's no way I would have unassigned the DD order, if the two orders were going the same direction. I would have kept the doordash order got it taken care of on my way to pick up the Uber Eats order or pick them both up and dropped off the door dash and then dropped off the Uber Eats. I'll dirty multi app any day of the week. Nothing unusual for me to be riding around with two Uber Eats orders and two doordash orders especially at the end of the night when it's busy but I'm just too tired I got to go. However, if you're going to multi app between doordash and Uber Eats always stay within the timeline of the doordash order usually you can slide with the Uber Eats but with doordash you don't want to get those contract violations, especially not with all the newbies they're putting on the road with it being the holiday season.
