- We stayed in a Kilimanjaro Club-level Studio in August of 2023. The Club provides guests with free daily food and beverage offerings (including alcoholic beverages in the evenings).
Will be staying club level in May at AKL! Can't wait :)

Considering a club level stay at AKL. Recommend? Any more tips or advice?
@LoulouVitt I would absolutely recommend staying AKL club level but with so many caveats and questions. Pros: Breakfast is hot and ready at 7 am and you can bring drinks and snacks with you from the lounge to the parks. The 5pm to 7pm offerings can be plenty for your evening meal and of course there are desserts after 8 pm. Cons: If you're focusing on as much park time as possible you might not be able to maximize the food options at the lounge and that's the bulk of what you're paying for. Also, if you're not driving then you have to take the bus to all of the parks. The buses are very convenient but there are other resorts that are walkable to one or even two of the parks. Then again, more walking can be a con if you have kids or older folks who will be exhausted after an entire day in the parks. There are other hotel-to-park transportation options like boats, the monorail, and even the skyliner but at AKL it is only the bus. I would recommend thinking about all of your goals, for example, park heavy or resort heavy...? And is this trip just going to be one of many trips to Disney or is it a once-in-a-lifetime vacation? That will determine if you need to maximize your budget versus your convenience. AKL is such an enjoyable resort. There are a lot of options to view the animals and the main pool and Kidani pool areas are great. If you love the Animal Kingdom park it is the shortest bus ride to there from AKL. Hope that helps. We had a long weekend stay at Jambo in April, but have yet to stay at the consierge level. Our December long weekend trip will be at the Caribbean Beach Resort.
Our very first Disney resort stay was Caribbean Beach back in the day! You can actually walk over to the newish Riviera resort from there now and of course there's the Skyliner.
