First off inside a business isn’t public. It’s their business, owned by somebody, not a public park owned by the people. They could tell you you’re not allowed in if you’re wearing green shorts if they like. Manager with no keys? Probably just a young kid who the owner employs and doesn’t give them a key because clearly he doesn’t care about his store, so why bother? Someone winning something is pretty rare, by the looks, so if someone does win just substitute their prize with one that is roughly the same size.

The minion isn’t radioactive, it’s a firefighter minion from Despicable Me 2. The red things on his head are siren lights lol. He also makes an fire truck sound when there’s a fire.

These ones are faulty for the most part, it’s just a shitty arcade probably owned by one stereotypical type of owner who just employs a kid to work there and doesn’t trust them with anything.
The Tilt Studio I went to had some good claw machines for the tinier plushies and the rotating one. The bigger claw machines didn't have enough strength

The claws have a grip sensor and how it works is you can program how much pressure it uses until the calculated number you have put in before it pays out and holds the toy tight enough for it to make the prize shoot. So the owner has calculated what each toy cost and all the other overheads and the profit he has to make and this is how many turns before it triggers the claw to have the winning pressure. So if it’s $2 per go and the toys cost $18 dollars each then the claw would be set at $36 dollars that the claw machine has been set for to make his money
