I am huge virat fan his innings was fantastic my issue was 19th over 2 full tosses played grounded shots and Camron green almost run out at that looked like he was playing for 100 didn't look good to me. But I believe he will be better next match a better pitch in Mumbai is waiting.
Nitish was able to perform because of two reasons first he came to bat at number four and he don't have to carry the full team and second he is a youngster even if he gets out their will be no problem as he is a youngster but virat has to carry the team and make sure to avoid a collapse

Valid criticism in case of Nitish Reddy and Virat Kohli. It's all about mindset. When Virat plays for India he is a total beast , like I have to do it. But when it comes to RCB it feels like back if the mind he knows it's not gonna happen , or if not me then who is next. On top of that , not just wicket taking owling , RR also did some good bowling to create dot balls

You guys should also make a video on the increasing number of dropped catches. Just in the last over by Unadkat, there were three catches dropped by SRH fielders and all of them were boundary riders, they are there to catch those one.
Actually it somewhat depends mentally.
Jab Kohli debut kiye, tab 40-45 ball 50 was good, hitting it in 30-35 would be a star performance. So its the overall growth of the t20 cricket, ki abhi 200 ka bhi ijjat nhii hai. So there is no f'in value for a 40 ball fifty now, unless and untill, pitch lendi ho, aur opponent chutiya.
If you notice, Nitish jab time lene ke baad fire kr rha tha, Shashank Singh dropped his catch, toh agr catch hota, toh kya bolte ye log ki tik ke khelna tha, aur waisa khel ke bhi, he could not reach to the end to finish the innings, he was set, could easily make 10-15 more.

Virat's game is not that aggressive he plays the anchor role every time. Because he is really comfortable in it also if he goes for the kill and is unable to make it there will be fingers pointing towards him
It all about the role I guess, Virat opens the innings and he have to be there throughout, ek end usko anchor karna hota hain so that ek end se stability rahe......

Yes I totally agree that Nitish kumar played a very magnificient knock in yesterday match but if we compare this innings with Virat Kohli's innings in RCB vs RR match we can clearly see the difference. Firstly that many catches are dropoed of Nitish and he has many chances but if Virat Kohli got out in that position then RCB score would have been around 150-160 which could also be easily chaseable. Second in yesterday match Nitish Kumar got support from Abdul Samad who batted a very good quick fire cameo which give the confidence to him as well and also that one six contribution of Klassen. Even Nitish reddy was 24 off 21 balls. He also took time to get set and then scored quickly at the backend of his innings.Exactly what Virat does in his innings. The total posted were similar - mid 180's. RCB lost and hence Kohli comes under scanner (also because he's Kohli, so you expect more). Virat Kohli was playing in the first innings he had to set a score for the team. Shashank and Ashutosh were chasing in both their matches, they had nothing to loose, they already had a target. This mindless comparison of two different scenarios just to fuel controversy and get engagement is shameful.

Virat is not someone who will score quickfire runs, his role is to provide stability and allow others to play around him freely which sadly the RCB batsmen are not doing. I think this will be a really unpopular opinion but FAf and VIrat are not a very good opening competition because both like to take their times to settle in, even if RCB does not loose a wicket the run rate by the 12-13 over is around 8-9, which needs to be more, which leaves a lot of pressure on the following batsmen to score quickly

Well played Nk Reddy but tbh these fiery innings doesn't work all the time becouse the probability of getting out is so high. So to be consistent you have to be more sensible and play less risky shots which some times make the innings slow... For example Rohit Sharma 2019 Worldcup played little slow but scored so many runs & 2023 played quick fiery innings but lost his consistency..

I feel the difference between virat and nitish was -
1) pitch played differently that day big hitters like max, faf,green even failed to connect the ball.
2) nitish scored 40off 28 when klassen was on the other end after klassen ,samad , shehbaz, cummins were there and really the pitch was a deciding factor.
3) after 40off 28 he has nothing to loose
4)even after that knock virat is getting trolled just think if he got out he would be grilled which effects a players template

Imo virat should hv attacked RR Bowlers in last 3 overs,cause he was batting from the starting,you bat till end because you want to give good finish to your team,but in that match it was missing,that's why people are criticizing him,RCB had 6-7 wickets in hand yet they couldn't capitalised on death overs,he has to evolve his game in t20s
