This is such a GREAT questions!! I mentioned in the video I started as early as week 6 since all I could do was sleep for most of the day 😅 so in between naps I would research, dream, and take out a notebook and jot my ideas down. Between week 16-17 (second trimester) was when I started to regain the energy to do things. Prior to shopping for items, I did lots of online research to cut back on stopping by so many stores. I made a list of the stores I wanted to visit + a list of exact items I needed. It helped me reserve my energy and not get so overwhelmed. I took it a day/week at a time. I listened to my body and did what I could. Week 17 was the prepping for the reveal and the actual party! ☺
Thank you so much this is our first baby and we didn't know where to start. we just want something nice on a budget for close friends and family only 😍🥳
thank you. im trying not to lose my mind lol. Trying to find decorations for my gender reveal in store on a budget has been crazy. Im going to walmart, hobby lobby and see what they have. MY friend is getting the cake n cupcakes. I love the schedule you mentioned. I just love the whole video. you ease my mind so much :)
Katherine I can’t wait 😛💙💓 I’m so excited to find out - this journey for you guys is amazing. You choose some amazing gender reveal items you got it all planned out and budget friendly
Look at God with those cupcakes and cookies being readily available! Omg I love being on this journey with you and I LOVE your ending to the video, too cut! Im coming back to this video for when we have our next kid and I want to have a gender reveal on a budget! It seems so daunting to me since im not creative but you made it seem more doable! Love it!!!
LMBO!! I LOVEEEE the first line of your comment! HAHAH RIGHT ON TIME!!! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. This was all so new to me and definitely trial and error---I really wanted to inform anyone that I could! Thank you for always supporting. Love you girl.
I am always excited about your content but to see the joy on your face about your new bundle of joy is just breathtaking!!!! So excited to know the gender of the baby!!! I’m team girl ❤️✨✨✨✨☺️😉
YAY!! I'm so happy you found it helpful! This was all so new to me that I just wanted to document and share everything that I learned (including mistakes).
First-Congratulations!!! I completely understand. I’m sooo happy this video was helpful! I really wanted to share my process as I found it to be so helpful and affordable. 💛 I hope everything turns out beautifully!
Not sure if you’ll see this but im trying to plan myself😭im so excited ive created anxiety. My party will be at 21 weeks, im 17 rn. Thanks for this video.
Congratulations Teezi! I’m soooo happy this has helped you out! I remember how overwhelmed I felt too 😅 this was literally the goal to share it with other mommas to ease some of the stress! You got this 💛
yayyy!! It was a lot of preparation and trial and error. Just wanted to share it with anybody who would listen to make their gender reveal planning a little easier.
I decided to have mine around week 17 (the second trimester) because I wanted to make sure I was out of the first trimester and I had the energy to throw a party and be interactive. I also knew once I had the reveal, I could start working on the registry!
I’m 12 weeks and my energy levels have been terrible. I haven’t been able to organize and clean the way I’ve been wanting to.. But I’m almost 13 weeks and I feel a shift in my energy I’m getting things done and plan to go back into work.
Congratulations!! Take your time momma! As I said at the beginning of this video, I showed up after 4 months! lol I was SLEEPING A LOT! lol I had no energy. I had heard the second trimester is the golden trimester so I took advantage lolol but sat down somewhere when I got too tired lol take your time momma!
@@JustbeingKatherine thank you so much! I’m now in my 14th week I was further long than I thought. I’ve been feeling so good lol so it’s getting so much better
Awesome video❤planning a gender reveal as well. You mentioned you were in Texas? Houston? If yes, then what park did y’all go to? I’m worried about even being able to do something like this in a park.
Yes! You can mimic what I did in the video. Time stamp 5:00 will walk you through, in detail, what I did to get others involved with the gender reveal without me spoiling it for myself. @@nickibarbiee
If you guys find this video helpful at all, don't forget to give it a thumbs up (it helps push my video out so others can see it!) and share it with someone who can benefit from it. FYI: This is 1 of 3 Gender Reveal related videos!--Planning, Prep + DIYS, and Reveal (There was way too much footage to put into one video). So don't forget to check the description box for direct link to each video + links to products I shared in this video. I recently added the cannon poppers/smoke bomb that my husband and I used. We had NO issue with not being able to turn the tube (which I had saw quite a few videos where others had that problem.) If you have ANY additional questions, leave them down below. I'm so grateful that you're here!
That, I'm not sure about. I'm sorry--Maybe search some indoor party halls or restaurants that allows you to host a large group of people. More places have converted to hosting larger gatherings these days! 💛 Hope you find something that works for you!
It's much easier than you may realize! In the invitation for the Gender Reveal, I included a portion notifying everyone to bring diapers. The plan was to choose a person at random, who brought diapers, to receive a gift. 1)Everyone naturally brought diapers, 2) We found a spinning wheel online, put everyone's name in, and let the site choose lol. I hope this was helpful!
How many months are you to be able to do a gender reveal?

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and my energy levels are making it so hard each day but I’m so happy to hear that it gets better in the 2nd trimester.
Congratulations!!! It really does get better. You'll feel like a superstar in the 2nd trimester!
@@JustbeingKatherine Omg thank you!! That is so great to hear ❤️

We gave it to a family member.
Any idea how can l do this gender reveal for baby shower without me knowing?

What about venue when your gender reveal is in winter
