If you're using paper that small I recommend foil. Use at least 25cm kami.

No, It'll tear easily if you use printer paper.

One hundred percent YES you can use printer paper i just made one to test it out. No rip, no stress on the paper. I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about so please go ahead and use printer paper :) trust me! Printer paper for life

Hey just made one out of printer paper and there is no stress or rip on the paper. Its ok you should give it a try if you haven't. I like it
