- I ride my electric scooter in NYC to Bryant Park from Astoria, Queens. I needed to visit the Amazon Go store there to make a few returns. Along the way I cross the Queensboro Bridge and ride on 5th Avenue to 42nd Street.

That was a nice quick trip from 30th Avenue, Astoria to the Amazon Go store across from Bryant Park. Under 21 minutes. It beats the subway. Especially in nice weather.
What a beautiful city, but how people could live in such congested quarters, I have no idea. I lived in Queens as a child, and had a good childhood, but can't possibly imagine living that in my 40s.
It can get quite dense!
It takes a special skill to navigate through all of that construction. Downtown Edmonton has so much construction goung on, partially due to the LRT (subway) expansion, and it can be hard to get around that, even by walking. The views on this scooter ride were great. Cheers! ✌️I❤NY

Nice scooter, definitely one of the Segway models I'm interested in. Good driving skills, you've got the flow going, which you need in NYC. I had to bike around with no bike lanes back in the day they were called sidewalks, lol.
At 1:38 every time AK takes this route it reminds me of the vid a couple of years ago when the lady walking her little dog tripped over the helm of her slacks and fell in the street . AK asked if she was alright while a passing delivery guy stopped and made sure she was okay . One example of the " nice " NYC . I sure hope that lady walks her doggie in shorter slacks .
It appears to be a challenge to cross the Queensboro Bridge either by e-scooter, bicycle, or walking, but you always manage to do so safely. 🙏 Thank you for sharing this e-scooter ride, AK! 🤗

Clark Street in River North, Chicago also made a bike lane but sometimes the cars would park there. Lake Shore Drive you would love it because it goes from North Side of Hollywood to South Side of 67th Street. Great video AK.

Easier to watch you on the G2 than the P100S. The speed on the P100S is too fast for me to follow.

@@GetRekt-bw6pu factoring the history current activity regionally its also in the eastern us red zone for weakening magnet globally and building tunnels bridges are not up to quake prone standards & age design & infrastructure have current issues above ground ground level & the many levels below. the phrase a ticking time bomb comes to mind. theres been studies of recent as for plans.. ? its like the 1906 CA quake. all is well till its not. im not sure many people plan ahead? water food flashlights radio first aid meds.. ect? theres info out there.. so dont take my word for it.
You can also ride the subway if you don't want a heavier scooter because its that much more cumbersone to have a bigger one.
Light e-scooter + subway combo is best for long range travel!
I'm thankful I never have to ride in the concrete jungle. The fumes from other vehicles are probably a reason for many people's respiratory problems. Couple that with the filth, crime, homelessness, and overpriced everything and I'd rather have a root canal. I do enjoy watching these electric vehicle rides though. Thanks.
