It's good the series is portraying positive outcomes about marital issues. Which is fantastic. But in some cases, the damages can be irreparable. I understand that there's nothing Jesus cannot do, but sometimes it's better for some couples to separate to avoid the unknown issue happening.

And been that Mrs Edet boosted of her marriage to Janet at the beginning, she even said she was going to introduce janet to her husband because that is his ministry but we didn't get to herehim speak to her at least from a mans perspective. Or probably Mrs Edet double casted Anyway I feel there was a little mix up with the lines of the script . However we got the message. Marriage is not a SCAM if you both are ready to work it out.
Cultural context: you can refer to an older female colleague as an "aunty" out of respect, rather than as a result of any blood ties of relationship. So Mrs Edet and Aunty could jolly well be one and the same person. However, I totally agree with you re Mr Edet's role in the movie.... We never saw the "Christian counsellor" side of him, aside his singing during the family devotion. Perhaps he wasn't even as "spiritual" as he wife portrayed him to be. Some people will exaggerate just to make a point!🤫
