what about the evidence for cognitive development from tool making and sea crossings, which need multi-stage planning, rather than higher order mind theory?

Interesting .... Dunbar's number 150. Also interesting reference to the Donesday book the inventory of Britain on orders of William the Conqueror in 1086. Very interesting.

You're dead-wrong about religion, story-telling, music/dance, and laughter. These things express differently in other animals. They are not absent.

Is it considered spam when a scientifically illiterate person writes a long rant promulgating his misunderstandings of evolution and science generally in the discussion for a video that assumes you understand evolution? I looked through the spam categories and none quite seemed to fit. Unwanted, yes, but not unwanted *commercial* content. Harassment, well, sort of, but not against any one person in particular so much as everyone who actually understands evolution. Sadly proselytizing, trolling, and thinking oneself clever for forcefully expounding something bizarrely ignorant are not on the list. Or is there a better way to force trolls to find a more appropriate forum?
