i can relate to this on a personal level. i have an aunt who’s the closest thing to a mom for me, she took care of me and my brother as kids, stepped up when my parents cant and wouldnt. we’ve always been so close even now that she’s thousands of miles away, working in another country to provide for kids that wasn’t even hers, and she tries to get home in the philippines to us atleast once a year, but because of covid, she was unable to and i havent seen her for almost 3 years at this point, i miss her so much, this is the longest we’ve been apart and it’s getting harder and harder by the day and i can’t wait for the day we get to see and hug each other again 😔😔😭😭
