      I visited quite a few floating markets in Bangkok: Bang Nam Phueng, Khlong Lat Mayon , Taling Chan and Amphawa floating market, but haven't been to Damnoen Saduak yet. Not sure if I will try it as generally I like more of a local vibe.
      Great to see you mentioned Khanom Krok, by it's Thai name but Hoy Tod is worth mentioning too!😉

      Thailand still has a variety of Thai people, ethnically and culturally, with a way of life that everyone can explore, including food, livelihoods, society, folk traditions, main traditions such as the Loy Krathong festival. Songkran Festival Buddhist Lent and End of Buddhist Lent festivals, Thai spirits and traditions of many different ethnic groups, arts, local games such as Morlam, Khon, puppetry, Manohra dance, shadow puppetry. Thai wedding traditions, etc.

    EXCELLENT and INFORMATIVE video!!
    Question about tipping. Does one tip the paddler? And if so, what is a proper tip?

    • @opalstoryofficial
      @opalstoryofficial  8 месяцев назад +1

      yes, if you think he did a good job. I usually give 100-200 baht. It can go from 20-200 baht for locals. but foreigners usually give more.
