A quick explanation of how this song goes (I think?!). #smashingpumpkins #standinsideyourlove #guitartutorial #guitarlesson #guitarcover #acousticcover
What’s crazy to me is how well Pumpkins songs translate to acoustic guitar. Leads me to believe that Billy writes on acoustic 🤷🏻♂️ - thanks for the comment brother!
Oh wow, thanks man! I'm glad you found it helpful and I really appreciate the listen. I'm planning to do some more tutorials, so if you've got any requests, let me know.
The first chord is an f# over a d chord. It's being played like a Hendrix Barre chord (Muted A string, thumb fretting the E string), but c-shaped. Just Barre the 2nd fret with your index and play a c chord with your other three fingers, lifting the index for the accents. Alternatively you can just play the common version, 032002 (e-E). It works better with the other chords
@nodojoavailable - thanks for the comment and congrats my friend! I learned this by ear, so I do not have tabs, however if you have questions I’m available. Ask away 🙂

Boss, mate. I had long forgotten how to play this song, and now that my left hand is recovering from an injury I thought of playing guitar again.
@lalocorgan thanks! It’s surprising to me how well Pumpkins’ songs translate to acoustic. It’s a great song, thanks for the comment!
