- Probably one of the biggest tribals ever in Australian Survivor, Daisy gets voted off, 2 idols are played and David's sneaky plan is successful.

I love how Mat, who knows Daisy is about to go home cracks a grin at that line but then straightens his face back up so he looks clueless cause he’s not supposed to know that.
The fake tension between The Golden God and The Godfather was just spot on!..
Me and my brother have watched all 40 seasons of american survivor and we still put this up there with one of the greatest moves of all time, david is easily the best aussie to ever play

He’s definitely a legend and top tier player but I reckon Hayleys the better winner and overall I put Luke higher honestly

The Golden God is possibly the best survivor player ever, he messed with people, blindsided people for fun and still won.

I reeeeeally wanted to see the Mat and David story play out way longer. It would have been super interesting to see them both at merge.
Best tribal ever. 2 idols played, one is flushed, one is used to get Daisy out. Have whole tribe if swap happen. Basically controling whole tribe. David is best survivor player ever in my opinion. And godfather had balls of steel to go for it

Jonathon's said we've got an exciting tribal to look forward to with the new season.. but, this one's gonna live on as a top tier tribal forever, doubt this season will be able to top this one. I still love usin' Dave's reacton gif every chance I get, LOL, he's just on another level.
This was funny considering Daisy had misplayed two idols last season

@@jersongregorio3335 Tara can stay home 😂😂. I’m positive Pia and/or Janine had to have been asked but they probably said no. Daisy was the only female in original contenders from her season who made a real impression

Now i understand the 5-4-2 split. The majority of 7 split the votes 2 ways 5 for the person that they are trying to get and for a double idol play thats why they got the 2 votes throw for a backup
Watching this live was like nothing I’ve ever experienced !!
Was a shame that at the end of episode 2 in the "next time on" segment - they basically said "Get ready for the biggest blindside in Australian survivor history"
I agree with the sentiment though - I'm on the edge of my seat for tribal quite a lot (the Joey vote being the most recent) but very few times I've actually verbalised my "WTF WOOOOOOWWWW" thoughts - Woo taking tony to the end of Cagayan was 1, this was another. I think that's probably about it.
Actually I had another last week when Cara voted for Laura accidently.
I thought I was having heart palpitations and I was shaking watching live.... Greatest moment in TV history for me!

What people don’t know is that the cast confirmed they knew David did it, he was apparently in danger next vote had they gone to tribal before swap
they were obviously suspicious in the edit so idk what point you're trying to make.
and if any of them actually knew for sure, why did they trust him again so quickly?
If only the ENTIRE season was as good as this one tribal.
Instead the season is a snooze-fest. Shame.

What a genius move! Did David put 2 votes on Moana to counter a possible minority split vote?
Both David and Phoebe voted Moana. I need to rewatch the episode again but I think he was still trying to be undercover so 🤷♀️
Us Aussies have developed an interesting strategy of splitting votes when we don't have the numbers, in case anyone from the minority flips, which would split votes, it's hella flawed and only ever works when there are no idols played, so I dont see the point, but it's very common now
@@random_jae5886 that is not what splitting the votes are. Splitting the votes is when the bigger alliance will vote for 2 of the smaller alliance so that if the smaller alliance plays an idol, the other person can be voted out instead. And we also did not invent this strategy.
@@ryanhogarth4830 did you not read my opinion that it’s flawed? It’s still a split vote.
The majority had told all of Mat’s alliance to vote Moana, so imagine if say Tarzan tried to save himself and voted Moana, then the vote would be 5-3-3, a split vote.
Also I haven’t seen American Survivor have majorities splitting votes when they don’t have the numbers to do so.
@@random_jae5886 but it is not the minority that splits the votes, it is the majority. It's not flawed at all really if you have the right amount of numbers.
Also what did you mean by Tarzan flipping to vote Moana? He would gain nothing from that, except the majority would be able to vote Moana on the revote.
