      A lot of companies are “second chance companies”. If your case is closed. Get your CDL and apply. I have a video about how to get a free CDL.

    WTF????? Here in Australia, to get a HGV (HC) license you require not only a zero criminal record but also a zero traffic violations record. You need to get an upgrade to drive doubles that requires an incident free two years driving singles (MC), and there is a zero offences and zero drug or alcohol record as well.
    A felony conviction here, would make it almost impossible to get any kind of job, period.

      Damn that’s crazy. I’ve only been driving for 6 months, but in America you can get ANY endorsement at ANY time. There’s no restrictions or anything. Even if you have a drug charge or alcohol charge, like DUI they’re SAP substance abuse person that can still try to get you jobs with certain companies.

    Your contractor failed you.
    How df it take you six hours?! All those drivers on the yard, I would have e asked one of them.

      Yea, they realized what they did and actually trained me and my co driver before sending us back out. I asked a yard jockey. He didn’t know. They don’t do the coupling of trailers. They have a vehicle that just jacks the trailers up then they move it

    You really didn't want to work for Fedex Ground any ways. If you are from a big city you need to go apply at an LTL Freight out fit. You will start out running the city and be home every day. And they may have openings for team drivers who will run you. Start out pay is decent but you will increase and make a good living. I have been driving for same Ltl company for 24 years now.

    You quit why?

    • @KeepitSlowTrucking
      @KeepitSlowTrucking  10 месяцев назад +3

      They had us sitting there for 2 days. Plus, I’ve been speaking with some other drivers and they have been having trouble getting loads for the past two months. And this season was supposed to be peak season but I was sitting for two days and other drivers were having the same issues. I honestly found a better job as far as paying goes, so I left.
