So I had my female a surgical insemination done & I was told by a few different people to start counting days at the date of ovulation but I just asked the vet and they told me to start counting days at the date of surgical I just dont wanna be wrong she would be 52 days if I start counting days at date of surgical but 56 days if I start counting days at date of ovulation that’s a lot of days to be off by I just need some advice bc I don’t wanna get this wrong ! Please if anybody has some advice bc if I start at date of ovulation I need to start reverse of testing tmrw but if start counting date of surgical I won’t start reverse of texting for 5 days…..

9/12/23 My female is on day 59, I took her to the vet to get a reverse prestegone test and she was a 9, they told me to come back to re test two days later on day 61 that’s on a Thursday, think on reverse pg test her numbers will drop? Machine being use ideex
Hi, my girl’s temp started to drop below 99 this morning, took her right away for a progesterone test. She was at a 6 this morning. Her temp has stayed under 99 all day. Currently 98.6. Do you think she’s going to need her c-section tomorrow since temp will have been below 99 for 24 hours?
@@doublemusclelinebulls test was done by my vet, they send it to the university here, not a ton of resources where I am so I’m not sure what machine exactly
@@doublemusclelinebulls going to see what her progesterone level is in the morning, she’s been displaying some nesting behaviour but definitely going to go off the progesterone over her temperature. I was worried about her going into labour overnight but she seems to be okay. Thanks for your reply !
I’ll spend the money, my dogs and puppies are worth it. If you try to be cheap, you run the risk of potentially loosing the whole litter. I’ve had it happen before. If it is that big of a expense I would wait to do the breeding until you can afford to do the proper testing.

Another sign is refusing to eat food. Temperature usually drops when she stops eating on the day she's due.

I won’t go off of this. I’ll do reverse pg . It’s a lot more accurate. I had 2 females at 100 temp and both had pups that night.

A 6 on which machine? From what that sounds like within 24-48hrs

So on this video sounds like your going off the breedings.. not the pg levels from ovulation 🤔..

And her level is a 9 but her temp is reading 98.8 and 98.6 and it’s day 60
How did it turn out?
The vet will not allow the c-section until they do there own reverse pergestrion test.
