Hang in there brother. I’m turning 56 this year and each year it gets harder and harder to work physically. I started to pace myself since 50 and it helps me get through those long days.

Sorry about your pain. Hopefully they are able to repair it. I am looking at a truck camper. Need to decide on a 3/4 or 1 ton truck, and diesel or gas.

I had my 5th shoulder dislocation in October while pull starting my blower.
Apparently my labrum is torn. I don’t want to have surgery but it still hurts and it’s almost springtime..
I hope I can find some help this year because I can’t hold my weed eaters or where a blower on my bad shoulder.

That why Tall people shouldn’t be on landscaping such digging, if doing mowing, weedeater must have special handle like Darwin Grip on it for tall folks specifically.
Do not do two lifestyles such lifting weight then do landscaping, it’s horrible idea and more overused your back. Taller you are, have to bend your back more therefore more susceptible to back’s injuries.

I hear you brother I’m 52 and I have Arthritis couple tunnel on my hands elbows and my Bach is all messed for being stupid all my life doing lawn service for 40 years since I was 12 years old working with pops using the heaviest freaking weed eaters they had back in the days The green Machines and Shindiawa that were freaking tanks they were like 15 and 16 pounds then started using the Stihl fs250R used that trimmer for years being stupid instead of using the Stihl fs80r now I am so messed up all I can use now are the Echo srm225 That’s the lightest trimmer I can find which are great little trimmers and reliable which I’ve been very surprised we use them as hedge trimmers also cause here in Fla we have tons and tons of hedges I have one guy just trimming hedges all day long 6 days a week with those 225 engines and they hold up commercially very well which I was pretty shocked cause I always thought they wouldn’t hold up commercially man was I wrong my guys do use the echo srm2320T and the 2620T and also our srm280T that’s a tank loved that trimmer but haven’t been able to use it in years I love all my heavy big trimmers and the biggest backpack blowers now I’m paying the price for being stupid pops always told me start using lighter equipment as I get older and my chiropractor i never listened man hope you feel better brother God bless 🙏

    When the body says: No.
When it hurts so much you wet your pants.
