Irish kilts shouldn't be banned at all. It is part of the Irish culture. Kilts don't reduce or lessen a Irish male his masculinity at all. It shows great pride in the Irish culture. Some people has lack of love and lack of respect for the Irish culture. I am interracially related to the Irish people and Scottish people.
Girls used to curl their hair and wear their Sunday best to go to church on Sundays, that's where the curly hair comes from. The wigs are just for convenience as curling your hair is tedious.
I much prefer real Irish dancing 60's 70's 80's I much prefer the boys dancing heavy more to the ground their foot work was much better. I myself dont like the leg in the air for boys. Many of the lovely old steps and dances have gone. Its more ballet now. No I'm very pleased I have some 1980's 1990's stuff I watch. I hate the wigs I hate the dresses I hate most of the boys outfits.
