Thank you. Can you explain why the stitching on the bottom isn't as pretty as the stitching on the top? Is it mechanical, I've had this issue on different machines.
Thread tension is not quite right. It may be as simple as rethreading the machine using the directions exactly as stated. Use scrap fabric to test whether this resolves the issue.
Are you referring to the bobbin thread? Sometimes rethreading can help. If it only looks ugly when you first start stitching then you can try to hold onto your threads when you first start stitching and that sometimes helps. If it is continuous throughout the whole seam, then there are a few things you can try. Sometimes if the machine is dirty on the inside, it can cause that to happen. I would also say to check your both your top thread tension and your bobbin thread tension. Sometimes a looser tension can cause it to look kind of ugly.
