Chum Creek Horseriding & Huts Review

Single handedly the best horse riding experience I've ever had (and there been a few!)....A magnificent 21/2 hour meander through magical forests & spectacular sprawling mountain side views of the surrounding Yarra Valley that are displaying all the colours that Autum promises. Listening to the musical talents of the local kookaburras we ride to the top of the ridge (which sits beside Toolangi State forest) where a toasty campfire & cabins awaited us to settle in & try some of the delicious local wines to wash down some cheese & crackers whilst we took in the breathtaking views. The promise of more riding of our trusty steeds was the only thing that dragged us away from this idealic setting. A relaxing stroll down the mountain side saw the local mob of kangaroos greet us to end our day.
The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming, (special thanks to Amy & Mel), the horses were in immaculate condition, very well cared for & all extremely chilled & responsive when needed. A perfect trek for 1st time beginners (from the age of 12), to very experienced & everything in between. We'll definitely be back!
