I agree with you on the price thing... if you discount your work they won't let you "discount" the quality - they will expect a $20k paint job even if you do it for $500

People are mostly looking for show car quality at Maaco prices, and it makes what we do hard because of this! It's aloooot of work that goes into painting a car and the average person just doesn't understand that! 🤦🏿. Beautiful job brother!🔥🔥🔥

Hey Mario, they make hose slides (or guides) that you place against the tires after masking to prevent air hose snags.
We used these in the shop I worked in and never had a hose get caught again.
    Amazon and eBay sells them.
Thanks for all the helpful and informative videos.

Hi Mario, some very good advice there Teacher Sir😁I often wonder how you pro painters doing a complete respray or like you have here almost complete how you manage to keep your wet edge and the best place to start to get the best job depending on what type of booth you are using🤔
I'm just playing at this game as all I do are single panels like fenders and hoods along with bike panels but I've always been told that the prep work is around 90 to 95% of the total job time🙏👍John UK

Hey John, it’s quite challenging to keep a wet edge on big jobs like these. You do a very good job painting your panels. I’m sure you could paint bigger jobs just as good. Thanks for watching. And yes 5% is paint lol.

I would like to try something bigger like the side of a car but I don't have the space, thanks Mario👍

It's inevitable for problems to happen with all over jobs, that's why I've stopped doing all over jobs. I remember when I used to work at a car manufacturer in the paint department. We used down draft booths and robots painted the cars, but it was still trash and all sorts of problems.

It must have been cool working at a factory… There’s always problems with paint. The real problem would be if you don’t know how to fix them.

@@mariopaintclass6091 Correct. You definitely have to know how to fix problems when they arise. I run into a lot of people that think painting is easy. It looks easy, but you have to know what to do when problems arise and how to fix it. Yea, it was cool working at an automotive factory. I worked there for 13 years and got a chance to work in many different areas and see vehicles built from start to finish.

I painted two door trims today and was adjusting the panel stand so they were flat to let the lacquer flow and one decided to just fall ,I couldn’t do anything about it but just watch it bounce of the floor and land flat on the fresh lacquer

Touch up that black dirt with the same paint u used using a needle or paper clip. White dot on white will stick out less than a black dot on white.

Can never understand on a job that size you wouldn't paint the two remaining doors 20 minutes work but no blending issues
