- Namaste, I along with my wife and a couple of my friends took a different plan in Kashmire this time and decided to go Gurez. It is a beautiful valley yet among the least visited part of Kashmir. We met a few local kids there who gave us a small tour of the area.

Gagan, you are having a wonderful time and giving us the wonderful piece of life time. Enjoy. God bless you , although I had been to kashmir and ladakh twice, I didn't visit this place. You are truly blessed. Abba khatun, shashi Kapoor and Nandas movie "jab jab phool khile " has a song which mentions Abba khatun and since then wanted to visit kashmir and went there first in 2008 with my kids 😀 honey moon tour canceled due to unrest in valley in 1991. Next visited srinagar in 2015 while doing ladakh trip by road from Mumbai. Now I will visit Gurez for sure that too by road trip from Mumbai. Age is just a number 😋🤩

Gayan sir , I watched this video very late, feeling sad I couldn't meet u here in Bandi pora, i m a big fan of u from last few years as I could has also joined u to Gurez valley, This year I did a trip of Gurez valley in my Honda Amaze with my friends in much more favour able season of first week of july , i feel U have missed many much more beautifully places in that valley

Habiba khatoon was the wife of last emperor of Kashmir Yousuf Shah Chak ..she was a great poet and also known as Nightingale of kashmir..akbar arrested yousuf shah in 1579 and imprisoned in bihar. after this habba khatoon became an ascetic, and spent the rest of her life wandering across the valley singing her songs.
