Synopsis:
The TV drama is adapted from the Thai author Ms. Pitchaya Turdkwanchai's novel "Samee Ngern phon" (Translation: This Ordinary Man). It tells a story about a dominant female president Lu Fangning (played by Zhou Yutong), who is nearly 30 years old but has never had a fixed boyfriend. She believes: “Being rich and earning money are priorities." She was determined to develop a new home furnishing brand in the company, but she was required to get married and have children before getting a chance. Ling Rui (Gong Jun), a gentle and handsome male physician with high intelligence, became her goal. Lu Fangning tried all sexy tricks to seduce Ling Rui into submission while failed. She thought that Ling Rui was cold and passionless. Unexpectedly, Doctor Ling was waiting for an opportunity to turn back...

I can't stress enough how well they did casting the FL. Her facial expressions, beauty, confidence and strut are to die for. Lu Fang Ning will go down in drama history along with Go Moon Young (Its okay to not be okay) as strong badass female leads.

I freaking love the FL. She’s strong yet endearing. Usually these type of contract marriage dramas the couple are like awkward and robot w each other but their interactions are so cute and natural and they don’t mind skinship. They also give off mature couple vibes. What a perfect fairytale

I quite disagree there was quite a few stories I read and watched without a villain and it was the best I've seen. For example, You are my glory which is a drama I just watched and merely focused on the relationship of the leads and some society issues. Never watched something so entertaining... I highly recommend you watching it if you didn't already.
