Glad to see people are still speedrunning this game! I'm much more into the vibes of GTA 3, but GTA 1 and 2 are still underrated imo. the camera was a bitch tho lol
Oh this brought back memories! Playing with my brother, the wang cars were the first thing we used to do on this map! Also it amazes me that last I played this more than a decade ago and I still know the map by heart, but I can't remember what I had for lunch :|
Funny story, one time I got emotional over lunch. I was wondering what did I eat on the day I got Postal 2 (prob. sometime around 2004) and then thought how hard my mom worked all these years on preparing lunches every single day... Yet lunch is something that almost always goes unappreciated, unmemorable. You eat and then go straight back to playing your favorite video games as a child, completely worry-free. Thank you mom and dad for the worry-free childhood you afforded me. ❤ And GTA2 was a part of it.
In your gta2 manager there should be an option "Exploding Scores", which is normally enabled by default anyway. And about ps1 version, well it is trash: pixelated graphics, long loading times, no power-ups, no buses+trains, less+worse effects and no wang cars which this video is about.. extremely limited.
@@Molotok_ There´s powerups in the PS1 version, just that for some reason they remove it from the map and you can only obtain it by destroying cars in the car crusher. Probably because since missions now are a bit easier for technical limitations, they had to balance the game by removing things. I disagree in the PS1 version is trash, is still technically impressive and there´s a few aspects where PS1 does better, but i agree than PC is overall better.

For car number 2, don't you get there faster if you use the bridge @2:02?
It isn´t, in testing i was 2-3 seconds slower with bridge, but probably it is about equal.

Die acht Bonuswagen, die man am Ende sieht. Feuerwehrwagen hat Flammenwerfer und die lilanen Wagen jeweils Minen, Öl und Maschinengewehre.
