Great review!!! On the fence...... at least I was until your review. What mag pouches and what attachment points are they using. I noticed they are available in several configurations. Definitely considering the assault pack. Thanks, definitely gained a sub!!
These are the g code scorpion softshell mag pouches. They have a pistol and rifle version. I ordered the R1 molle clips with them and they work well. I'll have a review on those and the HSGI tacos up soon.
Looks like a really nice PC. For the bunching issue on steel plate, adding trauma pads behind them will probably help reduce the bunching if not completely eliminate it.
thank you for the review, you touched on my biggest concern " shoulder pocket" I may pass just for that reason. I like many functions about this carrier. Darn! I wish I had a place to try on and should my weapon.
If using steel plates, usually you're going to want trauma pads. With trauma pads + the plates, it fits pretty snug. But Agilite mainly designed the K-5 and the K-19 for ceramic+poly plates.
@@Gruntreviews Yup, I think agilite mainly focused their production around the IDF(Isreal Defense Force), which is predominantly fighting against rifle calibers. Also, I don't know anyone in modern times that uses steel plates anymore due to spawling. Also, RMA rocks, I have those in my K-5 plate carrier. Would upgrade to a K-19 but the wear and tear on quick release mechanism makes me iffy on upgrading. Don't want those plastic parts to break.
What company did you use for this? I ordered an AXL JPC adapter kit because they seem to be the same type of carrier. 6 columns of molle and about the same size height wise.
@@siddunn4033 I know, I own one. I'm asking what hook and loop field did he use to attach a placard because it only comes with 6 columns molle webbing.

To fix thinner steel plate fit issues, get a guard dog anti spall and trauma pad sleeve. They weight nothing and u get few layers of Kevlar material for spall and a trauma pad in one package.
@@Gruntreviews Np i have a same plate carrier and had exact same issues with rts tactical ar600 steel plates with basic coating option. I was looking around to add more spall protection and found out about guard dog sleeve. Absolutely amazing product for steel plates of any brand and will fit most as well without issues.
I just need to point out that you are concerned with a 1 inch thick bound piece of webbing as a snag hazard, yet you have 3 carabiner hanging off the vest.
the price of Freedom is constant alertness and willingness to fight back. many people joining territorial defense forces of Ukraine without any basic protective gear and body armor and as a patriots they're fighting for freedom even being shot is anyone here willing to help with SAPI plates level 4 to protect Ukrainian people's lives?
Hello all, I have an Agilite K19 that I need some custom modifications done on. Would anyone know someone that would specialize in this type of work? Thanks for the help.
A new carrier would be cheaper and faster. Sent my placard adapter to egl 15 weeks ago and still havent got it back. Custom is time consuming and expensive. My lbt carrier cost 500 dollars. Retrofitting tubes cost an addittional 400 dollars. Could have just bought a shaw concepts arc for 400 and saved 500 bucks. After your custom work is done your gonna find something that actually meets all your needs without retro fitting or custom work
I may have to do a side by side review, ive got both. The k19 is a bit more minimalist, the banshee has just a bit more substance. I like the buckles better on the k19. The banshee is my preferred carrier, I have a review up on it.

I'd say it would have to be some thick pads. They definitely designed these around lvl 4 plates.
Probably completely eliminates it with a spall sleeve.
I bought one of these carrier with ShotStop plates. It works great and I love it.
Always good to hear folks are investing in protection. How are you liking those plates? I haven't handled a set yet.

It's still incredibly functional. The trade off to solid padding is the smaller shoulder pocket. You might check out the shellback banshee 3

It's all velcro. If you want to message me on Facebook, I can walk you through it.

Indeed. They put in a US distribution hub in several months after the video.
From the Philippines??
The only thing I don't like is that for me the side plate pouches seem to flop around. Have the cummerbund tighter than usual on it.
I'd agree. Would've been nice if they designed the side pouches to fit inside instead of outside the cummerbund.
So far the lbt 6094/lbx version and the cry jpc (possibly the quore performance pc) have the best shoulderability
It's all a game of trade offs. Some of it is the camera angle.
Getting mine soon in South Africa
Let us know how you like it
Have to stand sideways to shoulder the rifle (his case shotgun) is a no go
part of that is the camera angle
I wonder if when using a 10x12 plate that is sub 1inch thick if adding a trauma pad/cushion behind it would help take up the slack?
I'd imagine that would work. Or shove some soft armor behind it.
I just need to point out that you are concerned with a 1 inch thick bound piece of webbing as a snag hazard, yet you have 3 carabiner hanging off the vest.
I generally only keep 1 on there. The other two normally go in my bag.
