The sound man deserves some cake for this beautiful mic balance
So true, they get that wrong so often. I've seen so many cringeworthy live performances of them on the net - and this here shows that it's really a matter of how well the mics are balanced.

@@glowco.717 pretty sure this is live, they're that good. I also felt like Kirsty had a few moments of some strained vocals. Not that they weren't amazing, just I feel like if it was prerecorded she's enough of a perfectionist that she would have smoothed those couple of moments out.

@@Langley_Ackerman19 I think you may be mistaking me for someone else and misinterpreting what I'm saying. It was a year ago, but I only remember making this one comment, I might be wrong though. Regardless, I think you misunderstood my intentions. I'm a massive fan, I'm just saying that post production might be involved. Not like autotune or anything serious, just stuff like Eq, reverb, or adjusting volume for the different parts of the song. There's nothing wrong with that, those are all things that are supposed to make the mic audio sound more like what the audience hears. I was just trying to clarify that while the sound technician did a great job, I don't think it was entirely him that brought us this great performance.

I am so proud of PTX, they are still getting better. This vid is everything. Amazing camerawork, I love their fashion, all the sound was balanced. All of them were really PERFORMING, with so much sass and realness, and they finally brought back their awesome dance choreo that I have missed since forever, and it doesn't affect their singing.

I've always loved how good they are, but this video really drives it home because for 15 minutes I actually forgot it's just 5 voices and 5 mics on that stage. Such a full, rich sound and a beautiful performance. I love these guys so much :D

When you have this level of talent, you are not afraid of live. You also never need to lipsynce. These guys are at the top of the musical food chain!
The bridge/ breakdown section in “Water” always fascinates me. The chords are so complex and dissonant, yet they pull it off flawlessly. This crew, collectively, has an astronomical sense of pitch. Good grief!!

Gorgeous performance. Water sounded amazing, Kirstin's voice was beautiful and the bass and beatbox were so compelling to it. Mitch's rap, especially, was grabbing for him. Scott's opening of Cracked was raw. And as a side note, as he grows more and more into a man Scott is growing more and more into a *man*. If you get me.
