Another banger by EagerBeags. Your pacing is getting really good, I didn't know they were reusing the Zelda map again, but with the new mechanics being used to traverse and the inside of dungeons being unique, I'm sure it will still feel like a fresh experience.

It's kind of surprising we're using it a third time - the flattening mechanics of LBW made the map feel fresh after 20-odd years, hopefully the intricate parts of the overworld are new too so it's a familiar place with new twists
I really wish Mario, Luigi, and the others met some new Mario characters as much as I like thinking about the Nintendo Direct of June 2024.
In the Mario & Luigi trailer? I think it'd be so cool to see other characters in the M&L art style - it's so charming!!
@@EagerBeags Well not the Mario and Luigi trailer. No offense, I am thinking about a new and futuristic 3D action Mario game introducing my 6 imaginary Mario characters. It is what I also imagine and I imagine it being titled Super Mario Majestia. Sorry if you are not interested in my huge idea as one of the biggest fans of Mario, Luigi, and the others.
Oh my god, I'd heard of the Denpamen games, but I'd never seen those trailers before!! 🤣
I'm a lil' worried about Echoes of Wisdom. I hope it's good, but... I really love the tight-puzzle gameplay of the gameboy Zelda games, and I'm worried that the actual gameplay and exploration might fall a bit flat. I *really* hope I'm wrong, though.
My feelings exactly! One of the coolest promotional ideas of BotW/TotK was the flexibility of solving puzzles in myriad ways, but especially with TotK the puzzle solving could often be cheesed, and it made the process less satisfying overall, especially with how big Hyrule is in those titles. Hopefully the Echoes are a little more creatively flexible, not to the point of a few being objectively better slash all you need to beat the game 😬
